I agree with the las two comments Hunt is a good school but could use some improvements I went to hunt from k-5 grade and I don't have anything bad to say the teachers are good at what they do Mr. Slacks, Mrs O'conner, Mrs Hawks & Mrs. moore were my teachers while I attended but my sister had some good teachers to I am now 22 years of age and I still visit my teachers from time to time

i recently moved to this area my daughter attends Hunt and i was very dissapointed in the whole system from the principal to the safety i have seen the principal maybe 3 times because hes never out of his office and not once have i seen him say hello to any of the parents or staff. its just very heart breaking knowing that nobody goes the extra mile to make it better.

The kids and many of the teachers at this school are great. However, this school has many problems. Such problems are its lack of control over who can be on the campus and graffiti problem which is not cleaned up in a timely manner. This school needs to see dramatic changes taken into action.

Overall quality is very poor. Although there are two areas that excel: 1)In the 20+ yrs I've been involved with Hunt Elementary (my 2 daughters, niece and nephew all attended) there has been 'One' thing that hasn't and that is that their are Several Exceptional 'Teachers' that have Exceptional Teaching Skills(ex. Mr. Slack) and that is why I allowed my two daughters to attend. The other Positives that should be recognized are the Office Staff and the 'Excellent' Music Teacher( Mr. Londo). The school as a whole has 'promise' if 'Improvements' where to be made. Some 'improvements ' that are in urgent need are: the Security, Safety, Parking, Cafetaria, Bathrooms(soap, towels), Graffeti, lack of Team Sports and Tutoring.
