Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

This place is the worst School in San Bernardino county. It throws students away at the first opportunity, backpack searches are the norm, and when a principal didn't like a teacher from their previous school, and their child went to Sierra. Instead of helping this struggling student, they kicked him out ruining his life. No chances, no mercy. I had seen them help other students based on if they like him/her, and screw the rest. Their business teacher is exploiting their students for money and hopefully goes to jail from it. Avoid this school if you love your child.

I graduated from Sierra in 2012. It was the best school I ever went to and I went to lots. I crashed out of Cajon because I got in with the wrong crowd. The teachers at Sierra --most of them anyway-- listen and care about you as a person. There are some not so good teachers there but most are great. I liked best Curry and Scott. They keep it real and don't trip on silly things. They both got to know me and made me feel like I was not a messed up person like I was taught to feel before. I give Sierra A+.

Sierra is the best thing that ever happened to me. I thought I'd never get a HS diploma. But I did with the teachers at Sierra who helped me. My favorite teachers were Miss Scott and Coach J., who always helped me.

I am a student at Sierra High School. Going to Sierra is the best decision i ever made. I messed up at Arroyo Valley High School and I had freshman credits when i was a Junior in High School....as soon i stepped onto the campus of Sierra i felt like i belonged...and now i'm a Senior at Sierra and made up all my credits only because the teachers their teach very well..and in the future i will be proud to say that i graduated at Sierra... I love being a student at Sierra High School....so to all those parents out there that want their kid to graduate should put them at Sierra High School because i know that it will be good and the teachers that teach there are very good at helping all the students that need help... the school has the best test scores out of all the high schools in the San Bernardino City Unified School District because we LEARN and WORK HARD to earn what we have....so to all those parents out their that think Sierra is a bad school....its not because if we were we wouldn't have a sports team or compete in competition for the Law & Justice class....which is the coolest class there....so Sierra is the best school i've been in.....thank you to all the teachers there :)

Being here may seem worse than any other school, but because there are less students, the student to teacher ratio is amazing. I have learned so much going there and it has also taught me to be independent.

I am a graduating senior at Sierra High School and I just have to say that this school is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love the fact that it is a continuation high school because I would have never been able to be so close to graduation if I wouldv'e stayed at a regular high school. Better yet, I think I wouldv'e dropped out. This school turned my life around and I am proud to be a student there.
