It is our 5th year in Rolligwood, with our youngest finally entering kindergarten this year. We all fell in love with the school, the teachers and staff, the parents, the whole community. Our older kids used to go to Happy Hall (the private after school program) and the staff there are as caring and as kind as the school staff. The music program was stopped since last year due to the budget cuts but the PE program continues mainly because the PTA decided to pay for it. A deep sense of family and camaraderie exist among the families, We have built life-long friendships with many families we met here. There are mediocre teachers and there are excellent teachers - but over-all, the kids perform excellently in their STAR Tests. Students receive a well-rounded education, not solely based on books but on experiences and character-building. The budget cuts resulted to bigger and combination classes, parents stepped in & volunteered in the classroom and in PTA events - raising funds to enable certain programs to go on, including the PE and the Learning Center (an after-school homework assistance program). At Rollingwood, children are encouraged to be RESPECTFUL, CAREFUL & SAFE.
Fabulous! The teachers are excellent. The kids stay together from kindergarten on, but they are not cliquish. They were very welcoming of my daughter, who came to Rollingwood in fifth grade. My daughter came from a less spectacular school, but she loved Rollingwood and caught up quickly, thanks to her wonderful teachers. I can't imagine a better experience for her.
I love rollingwood because of the great parent involvement and friendly enviornment. The teachers do a great job at giving the children the best education possible. Thanks again rollingwood!
I have had a child in this school continuously for 13 yrs and I have one more year to go before my youngest graduates from 6th grade. From the beginning I have always been very happy with the education my children have received. Also, I have always been willing to offer my support when ever needed because I believe in Rollingwoods ideals. The teachers, staff and PTA have always worked together to make this school a valuable part of our community.
Rollingwood is Top Notch. They have a great staff. excellent kids, and wonderful parents. Even the grandparents are a pleasure. A family enviornment with a solid foundation of learning. Their program is easy to follow, and alot of thought and effort is put into the children and their education. I love Rollingwood.
Rollingwood has a wonderful, caring staff. Great programs that get our kids excited about school.
There is a great sense of community at Rollingwood Elementary. The parents and staff are great. They create a positive environment for the students, which really gets the students excited about school. The extra programs/clubs provides great exposure for the kids to try different things.
Great parent involvement!
Located in a very quiet neighborhood and for me one of the best elementary school.
Rollingwood has a great faculty who care about the kids and their education. Parent involvement is the tops!
