If your concerned about the asthetics of the school your child goes to then this isn't the school for you. However, the education more often then not makes up for this less than attractive school. An old converted house which holds about 40 to 50 children is right off El cajon blvd in east San Diego. The school's student body is very ethnically mixed with most being minorities and/or low in-come families. The school is run by one director who also oversees a pre-school of the same name located in La Mesa. There are about 4 other full time teachers and 3 TA's. The school does have a knack for teaching arts such as it's dance and theater presentations which the children really seem to enjoy (the parents too). All and all this school could use a good makeover but that doesn't seem to have hurt my childs ability to maintain an 'A' average
