Educational philosophy and approach to learning John Muir is a Paidea school where students learn to become critical thinkers through analysis and discussion in a seminar setting of complex, rigorous text dealing with global, environmental, and ethical issues that affect them as global citizens . The Paideia philosophy fosters student engagement and student discourse through monthly school-wide Paideia seminars.
