I rate this school 5 stars! The quality of teachers and the depth of the school program is outstanding! My daughter went from a 1.5 average in a well known public school to a 4.0 average here at Audeo. My daughter's confidence has soared as well as her thirst for knowledge. Ms. Kimberly Diaz should receive a teacher of the year award! Thank you!

Audeo Charter School is a great school that provides all the help for each student. I am a senior in this school and they have provided me all the help that I need to graduate as fast as possible with the help of my teachers and the support I got what i needed to get done.

This has been the BEST experience for our son and we have chosen the BEST teacher, Mrs KImberlee Diaz. We see clear academic growth and a newly found desire in our son to accomplish his school work and to reach the goals we have set out for him. We are very pleased with Mrs Diaz's teaching abilities and her sincere interest in our son's academic progress. We also appreciate that she fills us in on what's going on with our son regarding school work, including homework that needs to be accomplished. Even when he may not be having a good day at school. We wished we would have enrolled our son sooner!

My school is a great place to work. I feel that the work I do here truly makes a difference in students' lives. Students' grades improve because they are given the chance to take one subject at a time and focus on that area, mastering it completely. It is amazing to see the attitude change when parents and students come to Audeo-they are enthusiastic about school and appreciate the regular communication!

Audeo Charter school is a great learning institution. They Provide one on one help with student as well as adjust their schedules to there liking. Students are free to work on there on or ask for additional help at anytime.

What I like about this school is that it helped me learn and comprehend the harder things in life, like science. When I moved to this school I thought I wouldn't like it but a few months later I was doing better and working harder. My teachers names are Mrs. Diaz and Ms. Cirillo, and they help me through out my months of hard work. I remain to work even faster and harder to complete my goal, which is for me to be in the correct grade by next fall. My name is Brandi Swann and I'm an Audeo Charter School student.

Audeo and their staff not only salvaged our sons "academic Career" but also took a confused boy and blossomed him into a intelligent young man. Our son could not find his way in the traditional school setting. He was board, scholastically unchallenged and lost in the "cookie cutter" San Diego public school "numbers game". By the close of the 5th grade, his confidence and outlook on school had drastically spiraled downhill. He started 6th grade at Audeo and is now a senior and maintaining a 3.35 GPA, scored 1600 on his first attempt at SAT's and is excited about going to college. This is all due to the wonderful staff and Audeo. Three individuals are responsible for his success. Courtney Stinson McManus, Nancy Gersac and Stephanie Chappell worked tirelessly and from their hearts, over the last six years, never wavering on their commitment to help him reach his full potential, regain his confidence and continue on to college. As parents, we couldn't have asked for a more dedicated, persistent and committed team of educators. We only hope other parents, who are experiencing the heart breaking problems from their child's academic involvement, can find this blessed remedy.

We are very pleased with the curriculum, and administration at Audeo ( Mira mesa) charter School. My daughter love the teachers here( Specially Ms. Gilmore) and all they are encourage and support my daughter best they can be and she is doing way better than last school. I am VERY appreciate for everything . I will recommend this school to everyone, specially if your child need more small class setting and need individual help and time is so flexible too.

I Love Audeo Charter School because it improved My daughter Gabby's grades and citizenship. Gabby was not doing her work and hanging out with the wrong crowd, which resulted in getting almost straight F's. I took her out of regular school and I enrolled her in Audeo Charter School. Best Decision of my life. Gabby's grades went up, she was getting her credits needed. The teachers there are amazing, how they work one on one with the kids and how understanding they are with them. I personally like Miss Szorh, she is GREAT!! I highly recommend this school and teachers to Everyone out there : ) Sincerely, Wendy Aguilar

My son attends to Audeo school in Mission Valley and I am verry happy with the program. His teacher Mrs. Diaz gives him a lot of attention and helps him with his homework. The school encourages him to have a good career in the future. The flexibility in the school schedule allows him to learn other skills either at home or ROP programs. Home school is for kids who want to finish school soon and get a headstart in college

My son was attending Oceanside high School and he had completely shut down. Despite the constant Lock Downs and other activities going on he was just not interested in school anymore. He expressed that the Teachers shut down and stopped teaching and would make comments such as "The students care not to learn" and they would not put effort into teaching. Audeo Charter School has been OUTSTANDING. The Team that works with my son to include his teacher, Mrs. Andrew has been Fantastic. She has been so encouraging and works with him without rushing and making negative comments. My Son is encouraged and looks forward in getting to school and learning. Sometimes he gets discouraged because of the overwhelming assignments but when he comes home he is always talking about how GREAT the Staff is and the students don't fight and the Teacher's actually help the students when they are struggling. Thank you so much for accepting my son into the Charter Program and helping make a difference in his and our lives. The "Impact" is a Positive Effect and I tell EVERYBODY about the School... Thanks for having such an Awesome Staff and School Program.

My son and daughter graduated last year from Audeo Charter School in Mission Valley. I thank God for Ms. Szohr! She was wonderful with my children. They loved her and Audeo. They graduated HAPPY with high grades and LOVED their senior year at Audeo. Ms. Szohr was always there to help my children when I did not understand the work. She is compassionate, caring, supportive, and always keeps you informed on every aspect of their learning. My family always recommends Audeo Charter School. We can t say enough about our positive experience we had at Audeo. Thank you Ms. Szohr!

I am so happy we are at Audeo Charter School (Kearny Mesa). I went from having a daughter who hated school with a passion to a student who is doing fantastic at Audeo I had originally taken her to summer school in 2012 & we stayed. Mrs Orozco, her teacher, has found a way to support, encourage, and help my daughter in her studies & that is so miraculous to me. Thank you, Ms O! My daughter has ADHD and the school from the principal to the different resource teachers came together with me to form an IEP that keeps my daughter in her core classes but helps her to follow her work. We just had her annual review & its very insightful to have people who are passionate about my daughter's academics. So, a big thank you to all of the teachers and support teachers at the Kearny Mesa location, Ms O & Mr G just to name a few. Thank you for always finding a way to make learning fun for my daugher

After getting adjusted to the independent curriculum with the KM Audeo program, both of my children have really grown in their ability to be self motivated learners and have learned accountability for their time and assignments. For our family this program has provided us the exact learning environment needed, with the flexibility to still enjoy family life. Also, the teachers truly love what they do, it shows in the way they treat the kids and the support they provide. I highly recommend the Kearny Mesa location if you are fed up with the lack of accountability that the public school system provides!

About the tests


In 2012-2013 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

The different student groups are identified by the California Department of Education; if there are fewer than 10 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group.

About the tests


In 2012-2013 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

The different student groups are identified by the California Department of Education; if there are fewer than 10 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group.
