I agree with the reviewer above. Some of the teachers need serious training. The teachers allow the teenagers to talk back to them and curse out loud. The principal, Janice Von Arx, is unethical.
I have a grandson who has been enrolled in Del Sol for several semesters. I believe the school is doing a great job with special education students. The teachers and staff do a wonderful job.
This school has adequate teachers but it is important for parents to advocate for their children's needs in IEP's. Some teachers are much better than others. There are several teachers who are very commited but beware, there are also a couple very bad teachers at this school who in my opinion should be removed completely. The release of these bad apples, greater parental involvement, and a lower principal turnover would greater improve this school.
