This is a really great school! My daughter attends this school and tells me everyday how she loves going here. This school has many great teachers. They will want your daughter or son to do the best they can. The teacher for my daughter is great. Mr. Ruf always wants her to do her best. This school also has a lot of great activtives to do. There is darma club, tennis, and many more.
I was not impressed with this school at all. I had two kids that went to school here and just the way that they were belittled it seemed. The school has a heavy Filipino population and for example when there are parities it is just mainly Filipino food and at christmas time the Filipino kids are getting lots of presents and non Filipions are just getting something small like a goddie bag. This has to stop and I hope someone is reading this that is enpower to do something about it. I pulled my kids out of the school and transfered them to a new location.
it is a great school !!i love it !! my daughter always gets the princibles awards .they made hera star!!in education
My daughter attended this school for kindergarten and 1st grade. And I like the school a lot especially the teachers Ms. Fuelle and Ms. Gibbions, they provided her a good learning skill fountations. However, we moved to another residency location. So she is studying to a new school. In my opinion, the new school is not as good as Bethune, even though the new school is one point higher in the greatschool rating this website. So you can't base on the general rating to decide which school is more situable to your child.
My daughter attended Bethune her kindergarten year and her teacher was great but I felt an overall disadvantage for her. At first the friendly people are what drew my attention. Just that my daughter is a small minority there and I especially felt it when it came to my daughter's safety and the quality of her therapy. I also felt the office staff talked down to me.
My child just began Kindergarten at Bethune, and already I am impressed with the atmosphere, leadership and academic quality provided. The school is well-run. The principal is especially friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in and outside of the classroom is happy and calm. I am impressed with my child's teacher and the learning environment she has provided for the students of her classroom. I can relax now as I drop my child off to spend 7 hours a day away from home!
The teachers at Bethune are dedicated to their students. They have high expectations of their students and are very supportive. They believe all students can excel to their potential.
