Knox Elementary School

How can school be good? Children have been caught with marijuana, tests scores are low, & children are being passed to the next grade BELOW BASIC.

This year Knox has become a school completely out of control. The principal we have this year has been working hard (he says) but I think more needs to be done. The district has been of no help due to budget cuts. Next year there will be much less returning students. Its all ust so unfortunate for the rest of the students that have no other choice but to stay at this school.

I am excited about what I have seen in the Knox Community over the last several years. We have a group of innovative and creative teachers who are focused on teaching the students, not just raising test scores. We are raising wonderful children here!

Knox may have had problems in the past, but it is now one of the better schools in the district. Our leadership is outstanding and teachers come to work ready to take on each new day with enthusiasm and dedication. Our students thrive both emotionally and academically.

I love this school! I have been teaching here for 7 years and it just keeps getting better! The principal has done amazing things to improve the quality of education for the students. I couldn't be happier!

WellI am a school bus driver for Knox and have had nothing but student diciplne problems.

I attended this school for grades K and 1st, I was in the French imersion program and had two wonderful teachers. In class we did a variety of art projects, always had music and we were taught academic basics by our teachers, who had tons of patience! Knox was a good school despite it's location. Every year the Martin Luther King, Jr. parade went down that street!
