My daughter will start kinder next fall and I'm looking for a great school. She has an IEP and Down Syndrome, but has attended preschool with "typical" kids for the past 2 years. Does anyone recommend a school that does mainstreaming or inclusion? Thanks.
I have a son with autism and he is in 2nd grade. I have him going to Tierrasanta Elementary School located off of Clairemont Mesa Blvd and I-15. It is a very good school and it is an inclusion school which worried me, because his last school was restricted, but he's actually doing very well and the kids are very accepting of him. The Principal is awesome and very involved with every aspect of the school. I met with her before the school year started and she was very reassuring about everything tat I was concerned about. 81116
