I have found Fusion and it's entire staff to be the most compassionate and thorough in the care and support of my child's education. One-to-one teacher to student ratio is seamless in how proficiently a child understands, masters and retains the subject matter and is ready to excel. Courses can be completed in less time and with amazing results - great for the child's competency and confidence. For children who cannot be challenged by certain schools have no limits with this type of system. Other students who may believe they could never "understand" certain courses are taken on a journey of enlightenment when they are given the chance, time and skills to "get it". By working with children as individuals there is no limit. At first I thought the social aspect would be a problem, but the kids are given many opportunities to interact and strong friendships form. Fusion has made a difference for my child. Jobs and internships during the school year are highly encouraged as well as community service - for real "life skills". There are all kinds of kids in the world but when each child's expectation is made clear, where performance and compassion are emphasized - every child wins.
First, the tuition is astronomical (more than most colleges per year) and the real academic expectations of students are the bare minimum; It's basically a degree mill for the "1% ers" out there whose kids have been kicked out of 2-3 schools before they show up at Fusion. The parents have nowhere to turn, and Fusion is definitely a better option than boarding school. If you can afford the $27,000 a year , give or take, then your child will get a good experience, as attention is paid to students emotional as well as academic well being. Just realize that when push comes to shove, you will have essentially bought them a high school degree.
