Thumbs up for Mrs. Perini and her staff members! Great job have you all done! I am very happy that my kids go to this school. Strict? Yes. Unkind? No! During this summer vacation, my younger kid kept saying that she could not wait to go back to school. Wow!
Former student actually, and proud to say I went to this school. The kids seem to be pretty well behaved, although I don't know if that has changed over time, but nevertheless, the overall atmosphere is still friendly and warm. Teachers are remarkably involved and try their best to ensure that the students are doing their best. It was a good elementary school experience, and whenever I visit, I feel an incredible amount of nostalgia and comfort.
The teachers are great.. they are very dedicated and the atmosphere within the school is great. The open communication between parents and teachers is wonderful..
I think the school does an amazing job brining quality education to this small multi-ethnic and mutli-class community. The principal is committed to serve the teachers so that the care will be filtered to the students for maximal learning. The partnership between the teachers and parents is strong, too. I am proud to be a parent at Emperor.
The teachers are wonderful and the principal loves it when parents get involved! Everyone is very nice.
One of the best schools in the San Gabriel Valley. Yes, the principal is tough, which the teachers, students, and parents appreciate!
This is our first year at Emperor. The principal has high expectation on both her staff and students. Students always have access to books not just in the library but also in the hallway. The soaring API score is a true reflection of the quality academic programs going on in this school.
We've felt that the academic programs are excellent. They also do a superbe job with their citizenship and character building programs. Arts are provided in the classroom. Music is available in 4th grade and above. They also have other after school programs on site such as ChessMasters, Chinese School, Spanish Explorers, Boy and Girl Scouts, Student Council. Varies: moderate to high percentage of parent involvement. There is an active PTA, but there are problems getting more than a core of parents involved as officers.
My son went to this school for 6 years. The principal is very strict and unkind. We had alot of trouble with her. She doesn't appreciate any parent involment and doesn't want to hear your opinion on anything. I can not recommend this school to any parent. The school is very unfriendly to parents.
Emperor is a wonderful school. Mrs. Perenni makes it a safe place to learn. There is zero tolerance for bullying and children learn valuable life skills through their educational experience at the school.
