The quality of academic programs is excellent. Music, art and sports are also awesome. Parent involvement are also good.
Great school. Very motivated teachers. Prompt response to queries from parents. My kid has fun but also seems to be learning so much each semester.
I have a 1st and 2nd grader in their 2nd year at Clark. I think some teachers are better than others, but overall a great school. I think homework is average; they could use a little more. Teacher's have always responded quickly to email which is great. It needs more after school activities. It could also make better use of its website, which is not used much. After all, this is Silicon Valley.
I have two boy's that started new this year to Clark, I was nervous, but they seem to be doing great. They do have quite a bit of homework, but I feel this is very good for them. The only problem I see in the school is one of the teachers. Other than that teacher this is a wonderful school with a great principal!
My son has attended kindergarten and first grade here. The school has very good teachers who were selected to come to this brand new facility 2 years ago. The principal and office staff are friendly and responsive. The school has many more students than originally anticipated. The parking and student drop-off is horrendous but new parking lot and student entrances are being made to ease the gridlock. The parent involvement seems limited to a dedicated core of parents. The PTA could definitely do a better job of including parents. I have volunteered to help with events and then was never again contacted. That said, the PTA puts on some very nice family events. There is a YMCA daycare facility on-site. I don't think the art program has started yet but funds were raised to buy materials for 'Art Attack?'. Music is at teacher's discretion and some are motivated to do it.
I have a child in kindergarten. I am very happy with the school, equipment and teacher.
Access to teachers is minimal at best. They are virtually unaccessable. If you're teacher ignores your email requests you have very little recourse. The kids are pushed way too hard.
