We are so happy that we found this school! Having teacher's that are driven to teach sure has made a difference in my son. He is more focused on learning than he has ever been and looks forward to school now! I have to say that this year is the first year my son has really excelled in school...EVER, which says a lot for the school, teachers and leadership!

Last year, my son attended a different high school, and I have found that the quality of teachers is consistently higher at Summit San Jose. From the time that I attended a Recruitment Event last February, I have been impressed by the enthusiasm and motivation of the teachers and staff and the school's clear focus on preparing students for college. I see my son being engaged in the academics and enjoying school activities. Summit has the formula for success.

East San Jose should be proud to have this school in our community. While not perfect, my daughter is receiving a very good quality education, tremendous support from her mentor teacher, and opportunities for leadership and activities. The college focus is evident and support is provided for all students to achieve this.

This school has a lot of parents involvement, they have office hrs everyday to help kids that require the extra help and in addition to it ,they also have a dash program, Mondays and Wednesdays, after school to help with with any homework . it is up to the children to take advantage of it. Overall they have good teachers, their teaching is a little different than regular schools, they are not as strict ,they treat the kids almost like an equal ,kids are open to share their ideas . The math program also is very different than a regular high school,it is almost like in college, they use a lot of Khan academy online, and they learn at their own pace. It is a new school, but so far, so good.

Hey I am a student here and I just wanted to let anyone who is thinking about coming here should do it! The campus is right next to NHU which is nice and the teachers are amazing. The teachers themselves are actually one of the best parts as they really care about students and stive to create an academic AND fun learning enviroment.
