The teachers at OWM have helped my very shy son, blossom in to a bilingual confident toddler who no longer avoids every new person he meets! He's exposed to 3 different languages at the school and it's still one of the few schools that teach cursive writing - these two things alone, develop & use a different set of skills that may otherwise go untouched. The teachers and other staff are approachable, not just for the students but for parents too and it shows that they enjoy their work! I love that they have a dedicated outdoors teachers so a small number of kids can be outdoors at any given time, this enables the school to follow a true Montessori philosophy & practice which is slowly fading away. Children are encouraged to do garden work, look after pets as well as the typical bikes and climbing frame activities. Parents are encouraged to be involved in the many school events throughout the year and the end of year Graduation Ceremony is extremely special and unique!
