Outdated facilities and attitudes. Underscoring classrooms. Good community, but this is not the district to stay with if you're a creative and effective educator.

My daughter attended Franklin for 2 years before we moved to the East Coast. Franklin's teachers, staff and principal are fantastic, loving, caring, dedicated and fun people. My daughter finished Kindergarten reading at a first grade level and 1st grade at a 2nd grade level thanks to amazing teachers. Franklin teachers work with each child at their own academic level and Franklin's small learning groups program allow students to be known by teachers in their present grade level as well as teachers they will have in upcoming years making it an easier and comfortable transition for students. During our two years, we watched Franklin achieve The California Distinguished School Award in 2012 as well as the Title 1 Achievement Award for two consecutive years. Franklin encourages parent involvement and they make learning exciting for the children. I highly recommend Franklin and my family would be happy to return to Franklin if we ever move back to California.

This amazing school has a very hard-working staff and wonderful dedicated and loving teachers. The API scores at this school have consistently gone up each year over the past 11 years and now stand at 840. Franklin received the Title I Distinguished School Award last year (one of only 6 schools in Santa Clara County), and is applying for the Calif Distinguished School Award. They deserve it!

As a parent I'm proud to say the education my little one gets at school.The teacher student relationship is seen on dropping off my daughter every morning.On picking her up,I can speak to the class teacher about her,The school principal is very approachable and talks to parents.. You can also see discipline taught in very conductive way,which students learn to respect . Keep up the good job.

A very small school, not very clean and does not have much equipment. Teachers and adults are very nice, and put their heart into teaching the students something. The outside isn't very nice, but the inside is very loving.

I believe it's a pretty good school, it may not have all the luxuries that other public schools may have access to , but it's teachers are great and very caring .

Um..well Franklin School is a great school full of spirit. But this school have the cafeteria and the autorium in one room! The school have less recess, less recess/pe equpiment. Frankly, this school doesn't let students funraise to make money for the school! So we don't have field trips. The school doesn't really listen to what the studnets have to say. I'm just saying what I think.

Iam not very happy with this school's teaching abilities at all. and only because we are in the district my child goes to this school. If your child has a problem in a subject there is no program that you can enroll them in so they can get extra help and I am not talking about the English language which a majority of this school has. They have programs for these children.
