all spanish kids. Low score school. Worst school in an area which has expensive house
This school is predominantly Hispanic. I mean 80% of the students is Hispanic. That is not racially diverse. The students and the staff have shown little to no empathy for students of other ethnic background. If the students are not Hispanic, the students will be teased and abused. The faculty members turn their blind eyes to any potential confrontation. In the end, I had to make a move to the district of school where it is ethnically well balanced. My kids became more confident and consequently doing much better academically.
What a happy place. The teachers and staff are always friendly and the students pick up that same energy. Very impressive.
This school has been transformed in the last few years. Just a few years ago it had the lowest test scores in the county - now it is above 800. The principals and teachers have worked so hard to reach the students and transorm the culture of the school. The teachers have engaged the students and take complete responsibility for student learning. Amazing!
The teachers at this school work vary hard and they deserve the word 'thank you!' , I have two children and they have a wonderful kindergarten teacher . The school staff is vary helpful . The Principals are both vary good.
I was vary happy that my child attended this school , she had a wonderful teacher who taught students about going green , and how wonderful it is conserve . The Music program is really wonderful , I enjoyed a play called Acorn Maidens this June , wonderful .
Anderson has been the home school for my family- two of my daughters went there , and now one of them is sending their child there. It been always a school that has tried to support the community. The new Principals are giving the school a new start with new ideas. The music program has been vary upscale over the years that has included coastume stage plays and singing .
Anderson School is on the road to achievement. Wonderful Music Programs and excellent P.E leader gives this school in a poor neigbornood a haven for children.
Anderson Elementary school is the best school in the moreland school district. The teachers and principal are wonderful. The staff at anderson work hard to teach our children and meet the states no child left behind program. The staff here makes sure that those who need extra help get it through different programs after school. My child recieved the help he needed through an intervention program. The children are taught that character counts, they are constantly reminded that they must be responsible, respectful and safe. Again in my book Anderson and its staff is the best!
