I am a new parent at Ida Jew Academies but very pleased so far. They recently became a Charter School and have great goals and objectives to improve their test scores and overall educational experience for kids offering added emphasis on fine/performing arts (VAPA), foreign language acquisition and science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). I am hopeful that my child will get a great education at this school and since it is a Charter school, parent involvement is required and I want to be involved as much as possible with my child's education. So far, I have met great staff, parents and kids here. I am also pleased that the school will eventually go to 8th grade so my child can stay with her class and not transition to JR High just like a private school.

The teachers need your support. They are among the lowest paid teachers in Santa Clara County and we need to provide competitive wages in order to retain quality programs.
