Great School , had 2 kids study here and they would not have it any other way. The school tries to provide an all round education and have succeeded in doing it. I would like the academic leve to be higher but its a trade-off.
The school started a pre-k program that has been wildly successful thanks to the teachers and director.
Love the community at Queen of Apostles. Perfect blend between academic and social learning experiences. It is a small place where children won't get lost or forgotten about. Teachers hold students accountable for their work and actions, while maintaining a compassionate approach.
Well they must be doing something right if their academics are so strong. I, too, believe their academics are much stronger than other Catholic schools in the area and I believe it is because of the dedicated teachers and principal. No need to look elsewhere, this is the school! The students are happy and learning!
This school has a phenomenal academic curriculum; however, school is not all about test scores. The staff at Queen's do a fantastic job at ensuring that their students are well prepared for the rigors of the following grade, but it is obvious that there is little dialogue between the teachers when they develop their lesson plans. Each teacher has the freedom to devise their own curriculum, but they do not appear to consult the preceding or subsequent teachers when implementing their plans. Furthermore, the administration does not respond well to parental concerns and the teaching staff appears to operate with little to no oversight from the administration. In the end, this school has great academics, but leaves much to be desired as far as support from the administration and teacher accountability is concerned.
