we are moving to SanJose from Toronto with my 6 year old son in the year end, He is now studying grade 1 in a Public school in Toronto. I am little worried now to move in the middle of his grade 1 class but i have no other options. Please let us know if i can get admission for me in any public school in San Jose this time of the year

Hi rmdharan,

It's very common for families to move midyear and public schools can accommodate that. The only time that it's an issue is if a school is overcrowded and they might be sent to a nearby school. But judging from other responses, it doesn't seem to be an issue at all.

Best of luck with your move.
