Stoneybrooke Christian Schools offers a first rate education with a Biblical worldview. Stoneybrooke nurtures growth with an administration and teachers who are open to partnering with me in not only educating my children, but training them in Godly character and wisdom, preparing them to be the leaders of tomorrow. I have had my children at Stoneybrooke over this last 10 years, and the staff and community of families has become our family. Stoneybrooke is not only the best choice that I have made for my children but the very best investment that I have made in their futures.

Stoneybrooke Christian School is the best of the best!!! Our children are receiving top notch education along with Christian values, beliefs and character building with incredible staff and teachers. I highly recommend to anyone, such a wonderful school in so many ways!

Our daughter was in Stoneybrooke from K through 8th. We knew then how well she was loved. Now, with a few months of her Freshman year in high school behind us, we know how well she was taught. She was completely nurtured spiritually, intellectually and socially. Stoneybrooke delivered a great education at a reasonable price.

Stoneybrooke Christian is a wonderful school. The staff are an amazing group of Christian leaders that truly care about the students individually. They are helpful, loving and very knowledgeable in there fields. They go out if their way to work with the students and parents to maximize the children's growth both spiritually and academically. Another great quality Stoneybrooke offers is the warm family community. The parents are all so close, we pray together, laugh together and cry together. I fell extremely blessed to be a part of this school and so blessed my children get to grow in this environment!

Stoneybrooke Christian is a perfect fit for our family. Each and every child's needs are met, whether they are excelling or struggling. I love that all three of my children are so different, yet all are taught to their individual needs. The teachers are loving, supportive and most of all positive role models.

I tell everyone how much we love Stoneybrooke and share with them how happy we have been here and what a complete blessing it is to go Stoneybrooke. The leadership, commitment to biblical truth and solid academics make it stand out amongst the rest in my opinion. It's an AMAZING SCHOOL! Tommy H., Membership Pastor Saddleback Church

From Kindergarten through 5th grade, we have had a great experience at Stoneybrooke Christian! The teachers have been excellent, making the school worth the expense of a private school. They are nurturing but firm with high expectations. Having only been at one other school for preschool, we do not have a broad spectrum to compare with, but know Stoneybrooke Christian's leadership has a lot to do with the quality of the faculty.

I have my child at this school because of the Christ centered, loving environment with high academic expectations. I know my child will be loved and cared for by the teachers and staff just as he would be by me. I know that they will have high standards for him in the classroom and that he will have to work hard to receive high marks. I kow he will be challenged and he will grow academically and spiritually.

We love the school for the clear focus and teaching of Jesus Christ and HIs love for us. This coupled with academic excellence sets Stoneybrooke apart in our minds and makes it the school of choice for our family!!!

Solid school overall - strong academic foundation is being laid but with spiritual influence and training from the faculty and administration that are invaluable. This combination seems to contribute greatly to forming stable, confident and capable people - most of whom seem to begin their lives toward loving God and other people.

We have been so very happy with the academics and character building present in a loving and disciplined environment that defines Stoneybrooke. The ultimate goal for this school is to come along side the parent and partner together in having each child reach his/her God given potential- which is different for each child. There is a feeling of family the moment you walk in and a sense of support that is comforting.

I currently have 4 children at Stoneybrooke Christian school. I love their high emphasis on Biblical education and Character/Values training which goes along with their quality academics. The level of communication between the parent and teacher is excellent. It is apparent that extensive care goes into selecting staff members that are walking with the Lord and are deeply committed to investing in the students. The administration leaders and faculty show that they have a genuine desire to help shape who the kids are becoming. It is also a very loving and caring environment. Our experience so far has mainly been with the primary grades, and the teaching methods appear to be extremely effective the kids learn and retain a lot. They also have a full time Director of Curriculum who is consistently monitoring various standards, school test scores and curriculum options. They make as needed curriculum adjustments during their routine reviews for all of the grades and subjects.

Our child has been attending Stoneybrooke for the past three years, but we are moving out of the state in 2012. We knew Stoneybrooke was a great school, but after searching and interviewing other schools, we know that Stoneybrooke is the best school that we could have sent our child to. Experienced and loving teachers, active parent volunteers, highly qualified staff and lots of communications all across the board. Whenever schools come up in conversation, we always give Stoneybrooke the highest praise and recommendations.

We were drawn to this school after visiting various Christian and Catholic elementary schools in the area. The draw was the structure and discipline always taught to the children in a loving, Christ-like manner. My daughter just started First grade at this school after finishing kindergarten here. There is no doubt that she is among the best prepared among her friends from other schools - even the other parents comment about her advanced reading, math and social skills. I can see the results of what I considered a challenging kindergarten program in that my daughter is very well prepared for First grade. The SAT scores for the kindergarten level as well as the other levels speak for themselves. The parents are friendly, the teachers communicate often with the parents and the school pushes academics but always keeping the child first and foremost. My daughter is incredibly happy here and feels very safe. This is truly a great school.

I have twin boys going into 2nd grade and a 4th grader at Stoneybrooke. This school has been wonderful for the boys and their development. All are getting straight A's and are on the Honor Roll or the Principals List. (for 2nd grade & up) Discipline has been a breeze for our kids as they are taught to be responsible for their actions. Special Kudos go out to Mr. Anady (4th grade, and Mrs. Anady his TA) a marvelous man who is especially great with teaching the boys of his class how to be good Christians - his class is co-ed but he really understands the boys and works with them well. Firm but caring, 'I wish all teachers of the world were like him' says my son. Also Kudo's to Mrs. Grams (K) and Mrs. Hawkins (1st) Wonderful caring educators indeed.

After our first few years of attendance we found this incredible growth spiritually in our kids. They are continually asking us all kind of great questions about life and more importantly everlasting life. You have those moments in life and I have Stoneybrook to thank; we are driving in the car and all our kids are singing on their own songs they had learned at StoneyBrooke about how God. It was one of those mements that bring tears to your eyes. I did not expect the Character building portion of the program to come out so strong in my children. To my surprise, in contrast with the public school system there seems to be this huge philisophical difference between the two systems in their thinking. The public schools system seems to focus and teach what you can get our of life and take from the system. While Stoneybrooks brings something different

Academic excellence was one of our most important reasons we were really interested in the Stoneybrooke schools. What grabbed our attention was how much farther Stoneybrooke kids were ahead of the public school system that our kids were at the time attending. Their large campus was impressive when comparing other christian schools. My wife and I found it impressive when we attended a parent event and found that almost all of both sets parents were attending, which is almost unheard of in the public system. To us the amount that the parents care and are involved in the school really makes a huge difference to every child that goes there.

Stoneybrooke provides a learning environment based upon Christian values, and, I believe (a belief which, frankly, I have not tested), outperforms public schools on the academic side. The issue about Stoneybrooke that troubles me is that the school leadership does not solicit parental feedback about the teaching staff; complaints by parents to school leadership about teaching staff seems to fall on deaf ears. There seems to be an attitude of indifference to parental feedback about the teachers.

Warm caring staff. In 2005 won best place to work in the Nation for a Christian business. One of the top elementary academic institutions in California. They give everything they can and do the best they can. I feel so lucky to live in driving distance so my children can attend.

Stoneybrooke is an exceptional experience and opportunity! Academics are the reason we first looked at this school and our son's time here proved to be academically, a great investment. HOWEVER, we found that by the time he finished his first year, the CHARACTER developement and spiritual maturity not only matched the stellar academics, activities and the community of this school, but surpassed our expectations for our son's educational growth. This Christian school has the heart of God in it! Our last year, the school was voted Best Christian Workplace in the U.S. for it's category. Happy, developing, supported teachers make all the difference in the classroom. The Staff, teachers, leadership, parents and students are all shining examples of REAL people, with hearts for God, brilliant minds, knowledge, compassion, character and the Heart to grow exceptional children in the areas of Heart, Mind & Soul.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
