Our child has been attending Stoneybrooke for the past three years, but we are moving out of the state in 2012. We knew Stoneybrooke was a great school, but after searching and interviewing other schools, we know that Stoneybrooke is the best school that we could have sent our child to. Experienced and loving teachers, active parent volunteers, highly qualified staff and lots of communications all across the board. Whenever schools come up in conversation, we always give Stoneybrooke the highest praise and recommendations.

We were drawn to this school after visiting various Christian and Catholic elementary schools in the area. The draw was the structure and discipline always taught to the children in a loving, Christ-like manner. My daughter just started First grade at this school after finishing kindergarten here. There is no doubt that she is among the best prepared among her friends from other schools - even the other parents comment about her advanced reading, math and social skills. I can see the results of what I considered a challenging kindergarten program in that my daughter is very well prepared for First grade. The SAT scores for the kindergarten level as well as the other levels speak for themselves. The parents are friendly, the teachers communicate often with the parents and the school pushes academics but always keeping the child first and foremost. My daughter is incredibly happy here and feels very safe. This is truly a great school.

I have twin boys going into 2nd grade and a 4th grader at Stoneybrooke. This school has been wonderful for the boys and their development. All are getting straight A's and are on the Honor Roll or the Principals List. (for 2nd grade & up) Discipline has been a breeze for our kids as they are taught to be responsible for their actions. Special Kudos go out to Mr. Anady (4th grade, and Mrs. Anady his TA) a marvelous man who is especially great with teaching the boys of his class how to be good Christians - his class is co-ed but he really understands the boys and works with them well. Firm but caring, 'I wish all teachers of the world were like him' says my son. Also Kudo's to Mrs. Grams (K) and Mrs. Hawkins (1st) Wonderful caring educators indeed.

After our first few years of attendance we found this incredible growth spiritually in our kids. They are continually asking us all kind of great questions about life and more importantly everlasting life. You have those moments in life and I have Stoneybrook to thank; we are driving in the car and all our kids are singing on their own songs they had learned at StoneyBrooke about how God. It was one of those mements that bring tears to your eyes. I did not expect the Character building portion of the program to come out so strong in my children. To my surprise, in contrast with the public school system there seems to be this huge philisophical difference between the two systems in their thinking. The public schools system seems to focus and teach what you can get our of life and take from the system. While Stoneybrooks brings something different

Academic excellence was one of our most important reasons we were really interested in the Stoneybrooke schools. What grabbed our attention was how much farther Stoneybrooke kids were ahead of the public school system that our kids were at the time attending. Their large campus was impressive when comparing other christian schools. My wife and I found it impressive when we attended a parent event and found that almost all of both sets parents were attending, which is almost unheard of in the public system. To us the amount that the parents care and are involved in the school really makes a huge difference to every child that goes there.

Stoneybrooke provides a learning environment based upon Christian values, and, I believe (a belief which, frankly, I have not tested), outperforms public schools on the academic side. The issue about Stoneybrooke that troubles me is that the school leadership does not solicit parental feedback about the teaching staff; complaints by parents to school leadership about teaching staff seems to fall on deaf ears. There seems to be an attitude of indifference to parental feedback about the teachers.

Warm caring staff. In 2005 won best place to work in the Nation for a Christian business. One of the top elementary academic institutions in California. They give everything they can and do the best they can. I feel so lucky to live in driving distance so my children can attend.

Stoneybrooke is an exceptional experience and opportunity! Academics are the reason we first looked at this school and our son's time here proved to be academically, a great investment. HOWEVER, we found that by the time he finished his first year, the CHARACTER developement and spiritual maturity not only matched the stellar academics, activities and the community of this school, but surpassed our expectations for our son's educational growth. This Christian school has the heart of God in it! Our last year, the school was voted Best Christian Workplace in the U.S. for it's category. Happy, developing, supported teachers make all the difference in the classroom. The Staff, teachers, leadership, parents and students are all shining examples of REAL people, with hearts for God, brilliant minds, knowledge, compassion, character and the Heart to grow exceptional children in the areas of Heart, Mind & Soul.
