Old fashioned mind set here. No technology for kids, Spanish finally starting to improve after a decade. Do not look for help for either a very intelligent child, who's likely to be bored, or a child who needs help. No deviation from the standard to help your child do well in this school. Principal is no help, does not want to hear any problems or any creative solutions. Take it or leave it attitude. Parental involvement down due to principal's personality. Not the school it used to be under former principal. Look elsewhere for Christianity to be practiced. Many staff members unhappy but need jobs.

Excellent school with good values. The school community is wonderful and the academics are great. The school recently got voted 'Best in the Bay' by KRON 4.

Excellent school, stellar parent involvement, holistic education forming the soul as well as the mind where goodness is valued, dedicated teachers and principal, excellent sense of community and nurturing environment, tuition is a real value offset by fundraising. Parent of a 2007 graduate and current 4th grader. September 2007

Academic curriculum e.g., math and science, could be more rigorus. Textbooks are dated. Limited extracurricular activities. Impact of recent turnover in staff unknown. Parent involvement is stellar. Lots of fundraising events offsets tuition. Good catholic values.

The principal and teachers are completely dedicated to the academics and to their students. Parents are encouraged to help. It is the best school in San Leandro. -Mom to a Kindergartener

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
