Best junior high in the Santa Barbara area by far, both in the way the school is run and in test scores. Kids are engaged and challenged--my son loved it and learned so much! Definitely try the Core Knowledge program.
La Cumbre, is such a great school, and all the teachers are nice and great at teaching us! This school offers us so many options and programs, and we know we are going to do good on the SAT's this year, and maybe one day we will beat Locolina's scores!
We are very pleased with the seventh grade GATE program. La Cumbre has the highest CST-Algebra I scores in the district. Probably one of the most beautiful school buildings in California.
