Marymount has been the best decision my family has made. Both my kids have attended Marymount since Kindergarten. My son is now on his way to an Independent high school on a full scholarship and my daughter will thrive in seventh grade after receiving academic honors in sixth grade.

A lot of the information about Marymount out there on the internet is very dated, even on this website! Marymount is an independent, co-educational jk-8th grade school with a beautiful, historic campus. The school's commitment to providing a great education with real, measurable results along with the values and study skills to support this education is the experience you would hope for at an independent school. More than this, Marymount provides a joyful learning environment coupled with technology, competitive sports programs, creative, energetic teachers, great fine and dramatic arts, ethics classes in middle school, comparative religion studies and a great teacher to student ratio. My children have thrived in this learning environment. My oldest daughter is now doing exceptionally well academically and in terms of her decision making and morale at a very competitive high school. I have Marymount to thank for it and cannot recommend a school more strongly.

This school has offered a wonderful nurturing and challenging environment for our children. The families are welcoming and inclusive of each other, as are the children. The Comparative Religion course that students take through the grades is a phenomenal opportunity to help our children understand today's world better. Highly recommended.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
