We have sent all 4 of our schooligans aged children here, it is a wonderful campus. Very well organized, we'll rounded and very fun for the children. Their T-K class with Miss Weiss is particularly special. She is so engaging, creative and fun, but also holds the children to do their own best work. This class prepared all of our children for Kindergarten and sent them off feeling excited about their next step. Whether you walk into the classroom and she is in a costume with mini costumes for all the kids, or a sound track playing that sets the mood for the day, your child cannot miss this opportunity. You will see your child blossom right before your eyes, filled with pride, excitement and an education unequal to any other. By Kindergarten they are adding, subtracting basic numbers, reading all their site words and spelling several others. Their handwriting is ready for their future and the plays and performances are bar none and as entertaining as watching "Little Rascals". If you are fortunate enough to get a space in her classroom, you will forever be grateful.
Preschool school curriculum is strong although hard to develop with the rules and an attempt to create a "perfect" appearance. To the surface, this looks a really good school. Core competencies in Math, Science, and Grammar are solid. Spanish program is a plus although could be better. But some of the better teachers have left. Preschool principal isn't great.
The quality of teachers has become low, but the school wants to show that it is highly academic. Hence the teachers give most of it as Homework without going through them in class. Brainstorming, Outline, Rough Draft, Final Draft for 2 essay or stories a week plus a Test every week and this only for Literature. Middle school is like water board torture. Kids do not have time to socialize. They have less recess times and there is no fun for them. Elementary teachers qualifications are questionable.
My son began attending Stratford on January 7th. The teachers and staff welcomed him with open arms and warm smiles. He is only 2 years 9 months and has adjusted well and has even begun to learn new things such as shapes, letters, numbers Science facts Spanish and much much more! He loves Ms Jessica and Ms Raamya and even talks abouth them on the weekends! I highly recommend this school to all families!
