From the perspective of a student, I think there are a lot of things that I appreciate about Wilcox (our wonderful Theatre, and our facilities that are undergoing a retrofitting), and the programs that are offered are extraordinary, although some are at about the same level that Santa Clara offers. However, a few programs like the Drama program which I m in is unbeatable. There are a few teachers that are so-so and less, but a lot of the teachers and staff I ve met so far are extraordinary, and are excellent role models for students, and even some of the teachers with less seniority.

I absolutely love this achool. The teachers are caring and bend over backwards for their students. I have a Senoir and a Freshman, so I would know.

I graduated from Wilcox and I have to say that there may be a lot of negativity that has circulated over the past couple decades, however this school is guaranteed to expand your childs mind, boundaries, and overall life experience. I would send my children to Wilcox! GO CHARGERS!

My daughter's transition from a Catholic high school to Wilcox has been an incredibly positive experience for her. Her grades are very good and her attitude is great. She loves her teachers especially her two algebra teachers that co-teach the class. She hasn't had any problems with her peers and is very focused on challenging herself academically. She wishes now that she had gone to Wilcox from the beginning of her transition to high school.

Its a good school, but there is a lot of controversy amongst the student body. The teachers are awesome especially Jessica Mc Laughlin. She rocks!!

We think Wilcox is great. Lots of opportunities to become involved in athletics, clubs, etc. Academics are also great. The teachers are into helping students succeed. Very diverse student body. We highly recommend WHS.

Wilcox is an excellent school. There are great teachers and plenty of activities for the students. Like any school, you won't find out how good it is unless you take the time to get involved. A student can get a top notch education, but they have to want it. My kids were able to go on to do very well in college and thought their senior year at Wilcox was more difficult than their first year of college because they took the top level of classes at Wilcox. This was their choice alone. The amount of parent involvement is not as high as could be, but that is a large part of the social economics of the families.
