Amazing curriculum, great teachers.
I love this school because it is a wonderful example of the system developed by Rudolf Steiner to meet every child's need for a holistic education. I was educated in a Waldorf school, had all three of my own children go through 12 years of waldorf, and now enjoy watching my grandson benefit greatly from his experience in this system, and he is so happy at the Santa Cruz Waldorf School!.
I absolutely love this school! The community, the teachers, the campus surrounded by redwoods, the vision and compassion of the education. santa Cruz waldorf is a gem, a school I am proud to have my son in, and look forward to continue to send him to for many years to come! Thank you santa Cruz Waldorf school.
I love Santa Cruz Waldorf because it allows my daughter to shine her brightest by offering learning that is developmentally appropriate and creative, engaging all aspects of the brain. I also love and appreciate the deep commitment to personal growth, green consciousness and community values this school provides.
The Santa Cruz Waldorf School gave my children the most amazing education. Due to the recession, my sweet school is really feeling it. The prize money would be such a blessing. Our teachers take the children from 1st grade thru 8th. They are dedicated and caring. Our children shine from this atmosphere. They turn out to be well rounded young people who contribute to society in a positive way.
Santa Cruz Waldorf School brings forth the 'student' in each student.
My children can't wait to come to school! The teachers here care deeply about their work, and their students. Their committment to excellence is inspiring and after experiencing the way they work with the children no other school can ever compare! Thank you
The careful attention to each child's development, the artistic and musical approach, and the dedication of the Waldorf community to service.
Waldorf education is such a gift to children. They love to go to school and are nurtured and loved along with being taught to be well-rounded individuals.
Children get to develop into who they really are, not some sort of predetermined mold based on teachers goals.
