This is a comment from my 11 year old granddaughter who was a second generation graduate of this now closed terrific elementary school ( which her brother will not get to entered this fall as a kindergardner). May Grisham was a great elementary school. The teachers are awesome. I was there for all 7 years kindergarten thriugh 6th grade, but now im leaving to 7th grade.....well i guess all of us are leaving.
May Grisham was a wonderful school with excellent teachers and families. It is a shame the school district decided to sacrifice the campus by converting it into a Charter High School in the Fall of 2011. We will forever cherish our memories at this school.
My daughter received a great education. Could not have been better. I checked the neighboring districts which are ranked in the bottom of the state.
Moved here from LA School District; love the smaller class sizes and hands-on teaching experience May-Grisham offers. Great school!
High parent involvement, very strong PTA, and a great atmosphere. Lots of incentives and programs to encourage the kids.
