This is unlike any private school you will see in Los Angeles. The staff, faculty, students and parent body are down-to-earth and committed to seeing everyone succeed. The kids coming out of New Roads haven't been shielded from the world, they're exposed to the realities of our diverse community and the thrive. The graduates go on to some of the most prestigious universities in the world because New Roads is known for developing young people with more than just an SAT and GPA. It's truly a little known gem of a school...

Incredible teaching staff and administration. The school philosophy of teach to the child is practiced every day with emphasis on academics, the arts, social consciousness, community service and physical education. The school provides scholarships to over 50% of the student body and is one of the only private schools in LA that has true diversity. Its an amazing school and the students are taught to be original thinkers and lifelong learners. Very different than most of the private schools in LA, students are encouraged to respect and accept each other and cruelty to the weak is never tolerated.
