Lawerence Cook Middle School is a amazing school. The teachers work really hard with students. The reason why people think our school is bad because we have really low test scores. Please enroll your student into Cook Middle School it's a amazing school to go to. Us web leaders will help you!
I went to this school four years ago, and it actually wasn't a bad school. There are lots of great teachers there who really do care about their students.
The Basketball team rocks. They just finished the season undefeated and blowing everybody away. First time ever that has happened. I would encourage any parents that if you have an aspiring basketball player, send him to Cook.
This school is great!! There are so many fun activaties her that are also a great lerning expirience. Such as, The anual Blue and Gray Ball where all of the eighth gradersdress up and recreate a period in time. This event is featured in the newspaper. We also have great and fun electives like the award winning band who get to participate in the Appleblossom and Rose Parade. There is also a large diverse student population here at Cook. There is even a newly remodeled gym which is so beautiful and great.
A really diverse school, awesome athletes!
As a teacher from Lawrence Cook Middle School, I'd like to compliment the students, parents, staff and administration on a superb job in making Cook Middle School a school that makes us proud. Through everyone's contribution, the school maintains a cohesive, familial and professional setting, encouraging social and academic excellence. Middle school students aren't elementary school children, neither are they High School age. This is the age that defines how the young adolescent is going to evolve into adulthood. Therefore,it is vital that we, as a community, help guide these young people toward a fulfilling destiny. I have had the opportunity to teach 16 years in schools ranging from private to one-room, from affluent to economically disadvantaged and I can honestly say, Cook Middle School is the best! We at Cook look forward to greeting and welcoming your child to Cook's 'Home of the Mustangs'.
This school was great in academics, but the gang activity is troublesome
