We were very disappointed in the St. Eugene's experience. The teachers in the preschool are not long term employees, only one has has been there for a number of years, the others are all new. The total class size is too big for the space they have available. Children get lost here and the education is not worth the cost. In addition because of the new bishop, Vasa, the religious teachings are much more consertative and do not reflect the Catholic religion I was raised in. We will not attend Kindergarten in the fall. The school has much work to do to create an environment where children are challenged aca demically and supported in their growth to be the best they can be.

My son has been here since pre-school. The teachers are all very experienced , long term employees, the education is top-notch, and the community is very supportive. There is a lot of opportunity for involvement. The administration is very supportive of parents and there is a lot of personal attention given to each student. Kids thrive here!

This is a wonderful school! St. Eugene's exceeded our expectations in every way. Wonderful administration, caring and qualified teachers who get the children excited to learn. There are many opportunities for parental involvement as well. Wonderful community, we are very pleased with this school.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
