This is a small 12 grade school with teachers who know and care about every student. Academic excellence is always the goal as is nurturing the whole child. Parental involvement adds to a strong sense of family on this campus. The kids treat each other like family and the high-school classes all intermingle with each other rather than segregating by grades as can happen on large campuses. Because of the smaller school size, students can be involved in sports, drama, music and student leadership if they desire. In fact, there are hardly any high-school that are not involved in at least one or two of these activities. This is a Christian school and you can see that in the classroom as well as outside the classroom.

Redwood is a small private school and it is amazing! I have been involved for over 20 years and couldnt think of a better place have had my children. The teachers really take a personal interest in each child and the atmosphere is like a family. Everyone becomes so close and has your back. Since it is smaller , students can partake in everything they want. There is music, sports, leadership opportunities, and tons of fun adventures!! Never a dull moment. They get the opportunity to meet so many kids from other schools too. I love the staff and students at Redwood. It is like a second home to many.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
