This school doesn't offer as many acedemic classes as I would like and doesn't seem to challenge me.
THIS SCHOOL IS HORRIBLE I WENT THERE MY FRESHMAN YEAR..... DONT EVER GO THERE OR SEND YOUR CHILDREN THERE!!!!!!
This is the best in all round school activities!!
Santana has many great benefits. The teachers seem to truly care about the students success. It offers more sports than any other school in the district. Class sizes are small. Location is great. One thing that makes this school so awesome is it's smaller, therefore, the teachers can give more attention to the students that need it and the staff gets to know the students by name. Unfortunately, because it's so small, the school does not get the funding. I believe that the students and parents would feel they made a good choice in attending Santana High.
Santana is a great school. The teachers are great especially the English teacher Mrs. Smith. If you are thinking about going to West Hills don't it is right by the dump. Go Sultans!!!!!
I attends Santana and I am going to be a sophmore. I could not be happier. I love all the extracurricular activities, the students, the teachers, and I even made varsity cheerleading. Santana is the best school I could have hoped for and I recommend everyone to go there.
Santana is moving in the right direction and is showing a real commitment to students and parents.I have on many occasions received feedback on my son progress and sometimes lack of progress.I have also receive positive unsolicited feedback on his behavior, class participation.Santana campus is open to parents and if you choose to stop by, call or set up an appointment the staff is very helpful and happy to have interaction from parents of their students.
This high school had the best special education department, I've had 2 children gothru theyre speical education program, but suceeded behond what the teachers thought at first. One had graduated with honors. Santana way to go. YOur number 1 in my book. Parents if your chikldren need that extra help Santana is the way to go. Rhonda Castro Lakeside ca
My daughter graduated from Santana in 2000. Now my Son is a sophmore, he really enjoyed the school when it was the block system of 3 classes a day. On tuesday twice a month they have half a day where they only spend 30 minutes in period, which there are 6 periods in this day. The kids can not learn anything and it is not fair to the teachers. All in all Santana has been a good school. I think they need to review this year compared to the past years.
I enjoyed going here during the 1993-1997 school years. I was on the swim team and the teachers were great. There was peer mediation available. They don't have a diverse population, but are able to help the minorities fit in.
