Hill Creek Elementary School

For the Special education overall Santee, is not that great. The special ed coordinater at the district. is very rude and not helpful. Secondly my child really needs to be included in there program of regular ed and they bring in 5 special ed (mild) kids in the classs. I was told there was no such thing in the district, and there was and wasn't informed again that my child could attend this. I got him in there thru asking more questions and asked the teacher about it. I is crazy, my child could have had a better year I feel he has been deprived of something good, and provided restricted environment for learning.

It is a good school. Never had any problems. Both my kids go there.

Ive had 2 children at Hillcreek from 1995 until present. I have always had a wonderful experience there. Great teachers and staff!

My son attends this school. It is a great school with caring teachers and staff. This school is like a big family.

Some things that bother me about this school is the way they handle behavior situations. The school tends to have your students behavior from previos [years] continue to follow them.

My son attends Hillcreek school. He is in 2nd grade, and has really enjoyed it this far. However, my advice to parents would be, if you believe your child is falling through the cracks--fight for them. No one else seems to!

My daughter is in kindergarten at Hill Creek and she loves it. I have volunteered in the classroom and found the teachers to be very patient, well rounded and always engaging the children. The teachers were encouraging and supportive of the children during their learning experiences. My daughter was apprehensive about Kindergarten, after the first week she was excited, interacting and knew the teachers, principal and vice principal. The parents and faculty are very involved and my husband and are very impressed.

I think Hillcreek elementary is a great school if you want your child to have great learning experience and very good P.E. I know this because i'v been attending Hillcreek for 6 years.
