We love this school! Our daughter is in 3rd grade and loves being a Ram. Not only is the campus beautiful but it is a very safe environment. The Principal is fantastic and the teachers are so dedicated. We can't wait for our son to start Kindergarten next year. If you live in the area, you won't find a better school for your children.

This school is great, my husband I love it and are kids love it too. The teachers are so great in helping your children succeed. It is a great school and I highly recommend if you have just moved in to the area, to go to this wonderful school. Thank you for your time Cori.

I was a little scared at the thought of my two little boys together with all these big kids, but to tell you the truth its the best thing that has happened. They not only get a chance to see what to expect for later grades but a chance to also get to know all the teachers. Its a huge advantage Shasta Lake School is a family

This is our second year at Shasta Lake School, we love it here. The staff are wonderful, and my two boys love going to school everyday. This is one of the best school that I would want my boys to go to. Being a mother that is involved in there children's schooling, and there teachers have been wonderful helping my boy's get through the issues that arise through there learning and difficulties of everyday life and school. Shasta Lake school is a wonderful place to have children grow and learn, I would recommend this school to anyone.

The school is in super nice shape, with green lawns and fresh paint. Lots of art, music, sports and clubs. What a cool gym too! My kids like the K-8 grades. It's handy for me too. One stop drop off and pick up.

This is our first year at Shasta Lake, my children enjoy this school so much, come home everyday with a smile on there face. Shasta Lake are doing a wonderful job with my children, with all the different programs, sports, activitys, for my children to grow to be wonderful children. Thanks so much to a wonderful staff, that work daily to make sure that my children are safe at school. My children come home telling me how they love going to dchool for they really like there teachers. Every time that I am at the school there parents, every where helping out with the education and acivitys of the children.

About the tests


In 2011-2012 California used the California Standards Tests (CSTs) to test students in English language arts in grades 2 through 11; math in grades 2 through 7; science in grades 5, 8 and 10; and history-social science in grades 8 and 11. Middle and high school students also took subject-specific CSTs in math and science, depending on the course in which they were enrolled. The CSTs are standards-based tests, which means they measure how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of California. The goal is for all students to score at or above proficient on the tests.

The different student groups are identified by the California Department of Education; if there are fewer than 10 students in a particular group in a school, the state doesn't report data for that group.
