Community Harvest Charter School was and STILL is a very academically oriented and community oriented experience. The teachers are there to help students in their times of needs be it personally or academically. The support one would receive from attending C-Harv is to be rivaled by few.

Community Harvest Charter School needs improvement in administration, oversight, communication with parents, follow through, and timely responses to questions and concerns. There is no real parent organization and no opportunity to provide input for decisions made for academic achievement and parental involvement. The student standardized test scores are very low and there is no plan in place for improvement. The school needs a complete overhaul if it is to continue.

I am a first time parent at Community Harvest and I am pleased how their staff handle themselves and answer all my question regarding all the activities that the school has to offer. My child is happy at his new school, he stated that teachers and the administrative are very organize and helpful. I have known about this school for ten years when they first started in Los Angeles and couldn't wait until my child was of age too attend. A lot of the students that I have come in contact with has graduated with honors and got accepted into some wonderful Colleges. Very happy to be apart of this school.

No longer a great school...all the greatness that went into building this school has been FIRED!! it is currently a place where greatness used to be, they have fired all the teachers and staff that did not go along with their hidden agendas of changing grades and other wrongdoings. This I'd not acceptable!!

As an instructor, seeing the everyday challenging and responses of our incredible 6-12 grade students, having firsthand experience in dialoguing and working shoulder-to-shoulder with administrative staff members at C-HARV as well as the professional ethics of all directors and child counselors, and finally, understanding the great potential our school has to expand, and ultimately, continuously provide top-quality education and resources to our future youth leaders and parents... I am of the complete opinion that Community Harvest Charter School is the best in local college prep, safety and tangible life-skills focuses. 'The best is yet to come!' Mr. Rios - ARTERNATIVES.ORG

My daughter is a stuent and C-Harv and so far the schools has been great to the bothe of us. She is a two year honor roll student who at first was struggling with her academic subjects. I love the staff, teachers and the students there, it is such a tight knit family at C-Harv keep up the good work.

My son has attended 6th and 7th grade at Community Harvest. I was a little nervous about sending him to the neighborhood schools because of the fights and other issues (i.e. test scores, etc). I have been very pleased with how much personal attention each student receives from the teachers. Also, it is a very friendly atmosphere, where the older kids get along (and look after) the younger ones. My son has been excelling academically there. I also appreciate the teachers and their attention to detail. My son has made lots of friends there and participates in team sports.

When I first went to community harvest I was scared that all the kids in the 7th-12th grade was going to be mean to us six graders but they're not. They help us out. I love the way the teachers make things easy for us. I love this school!
