Ecademy was a no brainer for our child's education. My child learns all of the required education, but she is also using cutting edge business applications. She knows how to open a video conference and invite atendees....most adults can't even do that. I especially like the fact that she is learning in a safe environment...no need to worry about bullies. Ecademy also has many group outings that are fun and educational. Students are taught by real teachers in real time. My other daughter will joining ecademy next year. It truly is an exciting way to learn. Staff and faculty are great.

This was the best decision we have ever made for our 6th grader who will be attending next year too! She loves the school because it is so flexible! Your child will never miss a day of school because all the lessons are recorded and they can always review it if they miss it. So if your child is heavily involved in sports or any other extra curricular activities, this will allow you to do that because they are not doing endless hours of homework! I especially want to thank all of the staff and principal for their involvement! They are always there for their students to answer any questions; day, night, before school and even after school! The staff really get to know their students on a personal level because the classroom size is very manageable! The students are learining real life skills that they will be using in the business world, such as presentations similar to Power Point. This world is changing and so is learning! So if you are looking for a safe alternative for your children, that allows them to learn, grow socially, attend field trips, 100% teacher taught, then this is your school! You won't regret your decision, you'll only regret not having it done sooner!

Ecademy was the best decision my husband and I could have made for our daughter, who just graduated from Ecademy. We always wanted to home school but I did not know where to begin. I was informed through the Navy School Liaison Office about the services available with Ecademy Online School. It's a home school program that allows me to step back. To my surprise the school offered what my daughter needed both educational and socially for her to succeed. The classes were small and the teachers were able to communicate and interact with students using the internet. The principal and the teachers were there all the time before, during, and after school to assist and tutor students when needed. If you are a parent looking for a great school with plenty of benefits for your child. You have found it in Ecademy is like a family, working TOGETHER towards the future success of all the students attending.

Every child has their own learning style and my son thrives with the Ecademy program. He is more focused and I believe receives better attention from teachers in this media. He feels safe is able to complete most work during classroom hours which helps give our family more balance without having to put in many long hours completing homework in the evenings and weekend. We love Ecademy and know you will too.

My son loves ecademy. He is more interested in learning than he ever was. He gets more individualized attention with the teachers at ecademy. With the cutting edge technology this school implements I think my son will far exceed his peers in his knowledge of computers. This is the wave of the future and this school is preparing them to excel.

Ecademy School has been a breath of fresh air for my son and our family. With his previous traditional school having 38 students in his class, there was plenty of wasted time and busy work causing excessive homework. Now he completes his work during class time and is able to persue other interests after school ends. This has increased his confidence and self esteem. Also, no more focus issues because the peer pressure and distractions are gone. The teachers are always willing to help and following his progress on Engrade keeps everyone up to date on his grades. His computer and technology skills have gone from basic to advanced. I would recommend Ecademy to anyone looking for an alternative to the traditional public school or homeschooling.

I think this is a wonderful school with wonderful teachers!! I have 2 students currently enrolled in Ecademy. I feel like it is more hands than a regular school atmosphere. Same hours as school, and the teachers and students are interacting on the web cams. We have regular days off and field trips so the kids can interact with each other. I think this school is great for children that want to learn with out the distraction's of other kids that don't want to learn. As we tend to see quite often now days. Not to mention it is a public school, so it is Free!! Normally for a great charted school you have to pay quite a bit. I have not always "homeschooled " my children. To be honest, I was a little skeptical. But this school is Wonderful! You will so happy you joined and so will your child. This is the "wave of the future" Why not have a great school and great teachers to give you a push start?

Ecademy School has an incredibly forward thinking instructional format. Web-based curriculum and complete access to credentialed teachers makes for the exciting use of technology with the guidance instructors. Observing students expand their skills and confidence in the learning setting is exciting. The technology and the quality instruction brings equity to all learners. The school addresses the social needs of students in this home-based charter school with frequent educational field trips in which the entire family can participate. The leadership is of the highest caliber and it is clear that the Executive Director is a visionary with a clear mission for providing a successful alternative learning experience for all students.

This school has amazing leadership and fantastic teachers. They take the stress out of homeschooling! Happily, the classes are interesting and engaging. My children are in elementary school and they are excited to sign on and get to work. There is a lot of communication between children, parents and teachers so it is easy to make sure that you know how they are progressing. The expectations are high and it's nice to see my children striving to meet the goals. I credit this to the great rapport that is shared with the teachers. For those who prefer independent study, we tried that too. Ecademy emailed the work and then we mailed it in. This year we switched to online classes and that's made it even easier. The material my fifth grader is studying has given us great dinner conversations. Yes, we have field trips (SeaWorld, bowling, picnics etc.) and NO we don't have to micromanage the work because the teachers keep things moving. Best of all, it's free!
