We commute twenty minutes to get to Presentation School where my children love to go. The teachers and administration are all excellent. Academic standards are high and I know my children are being prepared for greater challenges to come. Our entire family has developed friendships within the school community and we enjoy all that Sonoma has to offer. I couldn't ask for a better school.

My family and I are exceedingly impressed with The Presentation School. The school s academics are progressively rigorous with the student s individual needs in mind and it s staff focused on providing a top tier quality education. The school community has been very gracious and welcoming with new families. Presentation provides an array of enrichment programs that range from Rock Climbing to Drama and each experience has proven to be absolutely first rate. My daughter is surrounded by academic faculty that inspire kids to learn in meaningful ways. The school also manages to create an environment that inspires children to keep their moral character in check and it s evident by the large number of exceptionally friendly, well behaved student body.

Our children have excelled at Presentation School both academically and in the extra-curricular programs. The strong emphasis on math and language arts has been great for our children and they have loved the sports and drama programs. its been a great scholl for our family.

We moved from London a year ago after exploring school options all over. We picked Presentation in Sonoma. The combination of solid academics, stable values, an eclectic community and surprisingly world-class extracurriculars in and around school ranging from ballet to music to climbing to drama to soccer makes Presenation an extraordinary value for those who don't have to be in a city every day.

We've had a great experience at Presentation. Really strong academics and what seem to be by far the highest standardized test scores in the area. Our kids compete on b ball, vball, golf, rock climbing, track and cross country teams. We have a great arts, music and drama program and at a time when class sizes around Sonoma approach 25-30 in elementary school, an average class size of 16.

Our three children have attended more than 8 schools over the past 6 years because of corporate relocations (public, private and parochial). We are tremendously impressed by The Presentation School. Small classes sizes, a demanding and tailored curriculum, after-school activities and a brand new state-of-the-art campus. We were uneasy a bit at first that perhaps the school was too small but it has worked out well for all of our children. The new Director has a thoughtful and ambitious new strategic plan in place and the leadership team in general is very strong. As newcomers, we have found the parents to be very welcoming and the administration to be easy to talk to and open to ideas.

Presentation offers students a well rounded education that includes academic excellence, moral/character development, faith, and a great after school program. The staff is committed, the leadership strong, and the parent community active. I appreciate that all students can participate in sports starting in 5th grade, and there is a wonderful focus on the performing and fine arts.

This is an excellent private school, with a top notch Director and staff. Students get a reasonably good classic education that well prepares them for either private or public high school. Teachers are available for tutoring, as well as parents that have expertise in the subject matter. Parental involvement and support are top notch. The School will be leaving the classic school building they currently occupy for the new campus this fall. Expense-wise, the school is a bit pricey, but compared to all the private schools in the area, and the alternatives, this school falls right in the middle and is actually a bargain considering the level and quality of instruction available. However, your kids come first, don't they? The only other item of mention is that there is a shortage of boys in the school. Presentation School is probably Sonoma Valley's best kept secret.

My two children have attended Presentation for 6 years now and have had the best experience. They love their school and have consistently tested in the 90th+ percentiles for the CA. standardized testing. They have had the opportunity to 'go up' a grade level each year in both language arts and math. They have both participated in the limited sports program, but have enjoyed the programs offered. The school always provides excellent field trips and extended out-of-the-classroom experiences, including trips to Marin Headlands, Pt. Reyes, SF museums, Ashland, and the Yosemite Institute in the Olympic Peninsula. The school has outstanding citizenship and ethics, taught daily and exhibited in the behavior of the student body.

We really didn't know if this school was the best fit for our children, until we saw the student 'Showcases' and assemblies. It was not until the real value was demonstrated in these faculty-led student body interactions, that we really understood. After all, we had researched and spoken with faculty and parents, however their words were not able to fully convey the real quality of this education. We knew our kids would learn to read and write at any school but the real value, for us, is the rich Character Development that is truly unparalleled. Kids thrive here! For those considering selecting this school, we have found everyone to be very inclusive of all parents and students. There are opportunities for each of us to participate to the level we are able. Simply stated, we have great respect and appreciation for both the leadership and how we have been welcomed.
