High academics taught with an integrated curriculum that uses art, music, and the environment to inspire students. It uses the Waldorf methods of education with inspires not only students but families also. It is open to all people from all backgrounds and has a welcoming environment. It uses the developmental approach to educating a child. My child graduated from this school from 8th grade and is now taking honors classes as well as high level foreign language, is very adept at music & computers. I have seen this system work first hand. I highly recommend this school for all children and families.

I do not consider this school to be an 'academic' based institution. Although the learning experience is varied, the curriculum is dated, slightly skewed, and not practical, nor realistic for the times in which we live. The school environment tends to foster emotional/mental underdevelopment in it's students, as well as a fear of media based content in a general sense (TV, non-Waldorf approved reading materials, internet and computer based technology, so on). If I were to recommend this school at all, I would hesitantly recommend this school to any parent within the district who has a special needs child, or a child with autism-spectrum disorders. I base that recommendation solely on the fact that this school progresses at a much slower, less demanding pace than other 'typical' schools.
