The Teacher that has her students outside, was conducting a morning meeting, that engages students, and allows them to learn about each other. The students start there day off on the right track. She also had 36 students, so she had to have the meeting outside, which the students actually chose.

My daughter is a 5th grade student in El Verano. Early in the morning her teacher takes all the kids out side with temperatures of 30 the grids, very cold. What ever the reason, I think it's not good for the kids.

Fantastic teachers and staff who really care about the kids. They give 150%+ all the time. Even with a large percentage of ESL students they make sure no one is left behind or out!

I think El Verano is a fabulous school. At first I was skeptical about this school. My daughter is now in the 3rd grade and is doing fantastic! Each of her teachers have had a special quality about their teaching methods. My daughter is at the top of her class and I have to thank El Verano.

While El Verano gets 'bad press,' it is a fantastic learning environment with a dedicated and intelligent staff.
