My son has been atttending this school since Kindergarten and is now finishing up 3rd grade. There is no better school then St. Thresa in South Lake Tahoe, weather you are Catholic or not. They teach academics, social responsibily, morality, and how to be an overall good kid. Regardless of the rumours, our teachers are fully accredited and kids are tested for what they retain, not what they are forced to learn so the school gets money. If you are willing to make a sacrifice, and make your child your priority then St. Thresa is where to send your child.
STS is such an outstanding school! My children have both attended STS since preschool. They get a quality education and have learned morals, respect and responsibility. All of the teachers give 110%. All of the curriculum follows standards and all of the grades test well above their grade levels. I not only feel like my children are getting a great education but that they are part of a family. I feel my children are safe and well cared for at STS. I would highly recommend STS to every family in Lake Tahoe.
My 2 daughters went k-8th grade. This was a safe and excellent school for my family.
My first son just graduated from St. Theresa School this year, after being there since te 1st grade. He tested into the higher level math at the local High School and was accepted to a private high school with honors. My other son is a thriving 5th grader and is doing exceptional, as well. We have had nothing but great academic instruction, compassionate teachers and a safe, positive environment. I am very proud of who my two sons are, and so grateful that they have been taught to be good, respectful and ambitious people.
My son went to this school and got very far behind. This school was way to expensive for what kind of academics they offer. He had to play catch up in public school.
St. Theresa is a wonderful, caring, safe, family- oriented school with high academic standards and excellent teachers. I feel blessed that my two daughters are able to attend this school. I truely feel that the principle, students, teachers, parents, community and church members work together to make the school what it is- exceptional.
