Great school! Such a warm and caring staff. It's both a joy and a relief to know my children are in such an environment full of such special people! Truly a God send!!

This has been my 9th grader's first year at Hearland. We really like the 3 days at school and 2 days at home. The PACE curriculum works well with the parents participating on the 'At Home Days'--The parents have answer books for correcting their students work. The PACE student workbooks contain all the information needed for a complete curriculum, but in my opinion it is not too interesting. The teachers seem very caring and the principal is very positive and encouraging. Being a smaller school, the kids are very friendly and made my student feel welcome right away. ( A curriculum upgrade and a few more electives, would make this school perfect.) Submitted by a parent I also submitted the rewiew below and some how it only has 2 stars but I intended to rate it 5 stars.

My daughter is a 9th grader at Heartland and has never felt the sense of belonging that she has had here from day one. This school welcomes you and makes you feel like an extended family member. Math her worst subject has now become her favorite. Heartland we love you!

I have had two of our children at Heartland. We love the set up 2 days at home and 3 at school, love that our kids are receiving a Christian education, but honestly the school is in need of updating. Communication with parents is very poor, the curriculum is 20 yrs out dated, first impressions are not impressive, but get to know they school and they really do care about the kids. It is a great school, but in real need of some changes (staff and materials used). I have been very impressed with the principle and her love for the kids.

My daughter loves Heartland and wakes up excited and happy to do her schooling there. Her teacher is creative, prepared, and we love the school so much. A less expensive alternative to private Christian schools and the 3 day a week program helps her not be a 'homeschool' nerd.

Two of my kiddos went here, and it is a terrific alternative to homeschooling, the kids are still homeschooled but in classes with peirs who are well assisted to learn by instructors who are able to help each child with their individual curriculums as they each learn in their own self decorated open cubicles. Parent involvment is a must as it is at home with homeschooling. Classes are 3 or 4 days a week (parents choice) and run K-12. School is not too big not too small, staff is very family oriented and treat your children as such.

We are so blessed to be a part of HCHC. The principal and the teachers are so highly motivated to teach and love our children. I needed the help in organizing schoolwork and keeping up to date with paperwork, so HCHC has been a lifesaver in many areas. My children are doing so well academically and they have built strong God friendships along the way. I am thankful that God lead us to them.

Parents are highly involved in the homeschooling center which offers 2 and 3 day enrollment options for school days. Loving, Christian teachers oversee children with individualized work using the PACE curriculum from ACE. Parents are encouraged to augment the curriculum and customize their child's education.

My child's behavior, outlook and grades have improved noticably in this school and at home. I value the difference the assistance and 'backing' that this christian based pogram and the caring adults can make in my child's life. The ability I have, to now be involved in my childs schoolwork goals, and to impress my moral standards without having them torn down day in and day out via public schools, is both relief and a joy! This school is an excellent learning environment!
