This is a great school for any child. There are excellant academics.. But some teachers are a little shakey. There were some major problems last year with teachers, but they were handeled and I heard that Springville jas changed a lot with the change in those teachers. There is an excellent music program there and childeren can feel comfortable with this great without having to leave elementry just to go to middle school... The music program also puts on an excellant musical every year. The science teacher is amazing he takes the highest achiving kids on a desert field trip for a week... My child attended that trip and loved it. This is a great school for and child to attend..

Very disappointed in this school. The classrooms were overcrowded. My son's teacher had so many kids (almost 40 and all boys) she had little time to spend teaching as just keeping order in the classroom was a challenge (which shows the behavior status of the kids and lack of involvement by parents). Both my children had problems with bullies with little being done about them (only excuses were given as to why they were bullies). Bullies should be stopped, not sympathized with. My son once loved school started to hate going everyday. The school just got a new administrator before we got there. People would say she just needs to settle in. If the school had a good strong staff and teachers then there would be little upset during an administration change. Too many personal issues interfering with the education process. Thank God we found a better school.

The best environment possible for a small rural school. The teachers honestly care about the students. The Principal tackles issues head-on and wants all the children to succeed. Springville has been a great place for our children to learn.

Small, rural, intimate school with friendly atmosphere. Academically second-rate. Many superb, dedicated teachers working with no creative leadership from the Principal/Superintendant. Excellent music program; poor art program. Too much time, effort and fundraising spent on expensive out-of-the-area field trips; needs to use local resources better. This school ranks well in Tulare County and at the bottom of the barrel statewide.

I love that this is a K-8 school. We have, however, had our childrens vocabulary expand in ways we would rather not hear. There seem to be many 'mean spirited' children that attend this school. I don't know if some of these comments are not caught or just over looked. Four of the five teachers we have had have been wonderful. The other was a nightmare. I am afraid that this small school is overwhelmed by the sudden influx of new students. The teachers don't seem to have time to give one on one attention to the students. I hope our 'small school' can somehow get back some of the 'small school' advantages. We still have high hopes for the remainder of the kids time at Springville School.

This school challenges its students to achieve at the highest possible level. Starting in the 4th grade the students must achieve 95% or higher in order to receive an A. Not only does the school demand high achievement from the students, it also has an incredible music program that gives students the opportunity to work with a gifted music instructor and participate in a yearly produced musical. The school also has wonderful field trips for each grade level including a one week science field trip to a desert research station for the highest achieving students in science.

This is the best school for any child. The teachers work hard to bring success into the lives of those just starting out in life. This school is almost like a private school with its education.
