This school was great! We just got tired giving our kids junk food and cold food everyday. They had no lunch menu or hot lunch. They cut down on school field trips and other activities. Most of the best staff left, and most parents took out there kids. We thought it was time for us to take our kids out too.

St. Polycarp Elementary School is such a great school, great foundation for children, academically and spiritually. We moved a year ago from Chicago and was overwhelmed what school to enrolled my son, private or public school, my son is in 6th grade. I met with the office staff, very welcoming and the principal is always helpful. She made it easy for me to transferred my son. The school have great program throughout the year and excellent teacher. So far my son loves the school and he's getting great grades in all classes. I'm so happy for the decision we made to enrolled my son to St. Polycarp!

The curriculum is excellent and the teacher's engagement with my son's educational goals is impeccable. This is a big reason for my son's love for school and excellent grades. Most of all my son's spiritual growth and relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ is without question. My wife and I are so please with my son's growth spiritually and educational achievements.

my daughter is attending kindergarten here. Her teacher is one of the bests. I have nieces and nephews going to public schools near by so I know. An excellent and dedicated teacher will leave a good impression on the kid for the rest her/his life. That is why I chose to send my daughter to Saint Polycarp Catholic School.

My daughter is in Kinder and she absolutely LOVES to go to school everyday. She has a true interest in learning and loves being able to read her sight words in signs and postings as we drive around or are in the grocery store. She constantly says that her teacher is nice and she looks forward to her daily hugs from the principle, who is greeting all the children to school in the mornings rain or shine! I have peace of mind knowing that my child is in a good environment being taught a great curriculum along with morals, and our catholic principles. My daughter is putting those teachings into practice I can see that she is learning and that she is growing spiritually by loving and caring for others. SPC is like an extension of our family and I know that she is in great hands everyday! Teachers and Staff are great and make it a point to put the children as their priority.

After being here for 5 years, I still love Saint Polycarp. It's a school that it's always improving. I have a 4th and 2nd grader, next year my son will come to Kindergarden. I like the schedulle 8 to 3pm and the day care too! The thing that I love the most is the staff. Teachers are very profesional, compromise and loving to the kids. Mrs. Wyles the principal is always willing to help and keeps doors open to comunication and sugestions. I would love Saint Polycarp to have more sports Programs and a Music Teacher so the kids can have singing lessons and instrument tutorials. I know that in order to do that the school needs more income so, don't hesitate and come and see our school, you'll love it...

My son was in Kinder. We are members of Saint Polycarp comminity and were highly recommended to put our son here. We were please that we did. Now is summer and our son keeps asking us why he can't go to school anymore. Any time we go pass the church/school, he always get excited and asks us take him to his classroom.

St. Polycarp has an amazing staff. The staff has a wonderful relationship with the students. The individual attention that students receive reflect the child's confidence. The staff is patient, energetic, and focused with every student. It is easy to see how happy the students are at St. Polycarp. The atmosphere is friendly and very family oriented.

I am a graduate of Saint Polycarp school, I attended 1st through 8th grade many years ago. Now, my daughter is attending. The education she is receiving is amazing. I know my daughter will have values that stay with her for the rest of her life. I had a wonderful experience and want the same for my kids. I have a 2 year old son who will also attend when he is older.

St. Polycarp School has enriched my son's life, academically and personally. He started in kindergarten and will be graduating in June. The principal, teachers & staff are amazing. They are engaged with each student's growth & development. They embrace each child and treat them like they are their own. This is a family environment-teachers, staff & parents work together to ensure the best experiences for all students. This school offers a strong academic curriculum. With smaller class sizes, teachers are able to facilitate more classroom discussions. Every child is able to participate & voice opinions - which develops critical thinking skills necessary for their future. As parents, we work very hard to instill Christian morals and values, it is a huge bonus that these morals and values are reinforced at school. St Polycarp holds its students up to a higher standard than other schools and that's one of the many things that sets us apart! This is a financial sacrifice but it's an investment in my son's future. I know that he will embrace life as an intelligent, confident, successful, well mannered young man. This is the perfect school to prepare your child for the future!

Our son will be moving onto high school next year and St. Polycarp has been a wonderful experience for him. Thee small classes allow the teachers to focus on each child to enrich their learning experience. The teachers are young, caring, energetic and know how to motivate each child to do their best. We came to St. Polycarp 4 years ago because of the rave reviews from families we knew from the school the boys used to attend. We also knew the principal and she has done a spectacular job of providing the best possible learning experience for the students. We stayed even after moving 30 minutes away because it truly is an amazing school.

I am a parent at St. Polycarp School, I love this school. It reminds me of when I went to school and we respected our teachers and everyone knew everyone. Our students here respect, and admire our teachers and faculty. The also respect each other. We have many new students start each year and they are welcomed by each and every student. In fact there is always competition with the students to be the first friend. By the time students reach 8th grade they are well rounded individuals with great character. There is a great sense of community here so your not just getting a wonderful education your getting a family for life. You need to go by the school and take a tour to really understand.

I have sent both of my children to St. Polycarp School for over 12 years. My children and I love this school for many reasons. First the small classroom size ensures that my daughter gets quality one on one attention from her teacher. The principal and staff are very hands on and approachable. The school has an excellent academic and extracurricular programs such as their homework and drama club. St. Polycarp always has fun activities to entertain their students all year round such ss family game and movie nights, family picnics, and fun filled field trips. Safety is always the number one priority for this school. And their weekly school newsletter always keeps me abreast of any current and upcoming events and activities taking place at the school and their community. I would.highly reccomend this private school to all my family and fiends.

My son is in Kinder and I commute 45 minutes to bring him here. His older brother and cousin attend Saint Polycarp and I was highly referred. I have never regretted the drive as my son is already reading and writing with just one semester in. When he came in, he knew how to count to 20 and didn t know his full abc s. I m simply amazed at how wonderful the school is. The teacher student ratio is perfect for quality and detail to assess the students. The value and moral of the entire staff sets the perfect environment for children to blossom and builds up self esteem, good values, and the involvement of parents and staff makes it feel like a second family.VERY impressed, tuition is also very acceptable compared to other schools such as Irvine Montesary which was beyong our financial budget.

We have been St. Polycarp School parents since 1998. My son is a freshman in college and my daughter is currently in 8th grade. Both children have attended St. Polycarp from Kindergarten through the 8th grade and have had great experiences by both academically and personally. Each year the children were challenged by a vigorous academic curriculum and nurtured in a welcoming and safe environment. The class sizes are ideal for more one on one with the teachers and they continue to grow by adding extra curricular activities to help build a well rounded individual. Parent involvement is great and the school also has a parent council and they continue to look for ways to improve and grow each year.

My daughter is in 1st grade- we have been there since kindergarten, and we look forward to keeping her there until 8th grade! I cant imagine taking her anywhere else, aside from the great academic program, the school has a genuine family feeling about it. My daughter isnt just a number there-she is a member, we as a family are members of this school. This has helped her feel safe, secure, and grow with self esteem and confidence, what more could you ask for? The teachers all pitch in to help in the spiritual and social development of each child through various extra curricular activities and weekly school masses. There is no better principal on the face of this earth- and I think every member of this school can attest to that. I recommend this school to everyone!

We are so glad that St. Polycarp School open up JR-K. We don't have to put our son in different school. It makes it convenient for us. Both of our kids go to school at the same time. We don't have to juggle our schedule picking them up individually. They enjoy going to school every. And they can't wait to go back to school the next day. It's really a good school. Parents get involve in activities, homework, and you will get to know your kids more how they are from school to home.

This is our daughter's first year at St. Polycarp and we are definitely glad to have enrolled her. She is always excited and enthusiastic to go to school in the morning and she is happy when we pick her up in the afternoon. She receives a great amount of individual attention with the small class sizes. In addition, the school and classroom reinforces kindness and good manners. Complete strangers often compliment us on our well-mannered child and are impressed. Lastly, my husband and I have peace of mind, knowing that she can learn and grow in a safe and loving educational environment.

I have 2 sons who have been attending St. Polycarp for 4 yrs and I can say that they have improved immensely in term of education but also instilling them with good moral characters. They come home talking about their day with great enthusiasm and never once did they come home and speak a foul word that they had heard at school. I have 2 nieces that attended a public school and most day they would come with a new "bad" word they had learn from their classmate. At St. Polycarp, it's not just a school but a family because the staff and parents all cared for each other and I have never felt such warmth and caringness throughout the whole school. I whole heartedly would recommend you visit the school and take a tour to see first hand what a really great environment for your child as well as for your family.

I feel truly blessed that we are able to send my son to St. Polycarp Catholic School. We made the decision to invest in private education after we received a letter from our previous public school showing poor state scores for the 2nd year in a row and giving us the option of a transfer. Rather than transferring him to another public school facing the same issues, we joined St. Polycarp. Drama, science camp, and homework club are just a few of the perks we love. The teachers are young, energetic, creative and compassionate. The principal is friendly, responsive and kind. St. Polycarp is our home away from home, and we are happy to have the opportunity to be involved. I am confident that my son is receiving a quality education. His nearly straight A grades are proof that he is performing to the best of his abilities. I can't thank the school enough for making him a more responsible and confident young adult.

St. Polycarp School is a treasure. We feel like family. Our daughter has attended since kindergarten and has only one year left. She has blossomed into a very well rounded student and young lady. The faith-based education was very important to us, as parents and Catholics. Coming from a family of teachers it was also, important to us academically when we researched the scores for the public schools in the area. She has been able to participate in various extra curricular activities, such as student council, drama club, dance class and volleyball. The administration, faculty and staff has been nurturing and loving. If you want to give your child a valuable academic and spiritual education filled with great staff and families, this is the place!

Our daughter is about to finish her first year at Saint Polycarp School (in Kinder). We are blessed to have her at St. Polycarp School. The teachers and administrative staff are wonderful and is there for you when you need help or have a quick question. I believe our daughter has excelled academically and socially. It's amazing the things she's learned her first year at St. Polycarp (such as the alphabet in sign language and religion)! I'm embarrassed to say, she might know more religion than me! It's such a family oriented school. It's great to see the same people during school functions. We love the small class sizes, which shows that teachers spend more quality time with each student. The school also offers before and after daycare as well as various programs to enroll in (Soccer Shots, drawing classes, homework club, etc). We are looking forward to next year, and hopefully many more years to come. Our daughter enjoys attending school here and looks forward to attending school next year! Go Pirates!

My child started Kindergarten this year at St. Polycarp. My husband and I knew we didn't want to have our son attend public school and researched Catholic schools. We could not be more happier. We feel he is not only receiving the best education but he is also learning to be a compassionate person. The communication between the principal, teachers and staff with us is phenomenal. Being that we both work we thought it would be difficult to be involved and know what is going on, not the case. We are kept well informed with our son's class work, behavior as well as all of the activities that go on. St. Polycarp has so much to offer. We highly recommend this school and plan on sending our other children to St. Polycarp as well.

We are new to this school, our child is in Kindergarten, so as Im sure it is for all parents, it was a little intimidating sending our first child to a new school....we could NOT have felt more welcomed! It is too bad that parent was unhappy. I can't imagine what it was that made him angry. There is nothing negative to say about St. Polycarp School or the teachers. We have the most beautiful families and children. I invite anyone to step on to this campus and experience for yourself the love and Catholic identity visible every day. You will see for yourself just how wrong this parent is. As a parent, I know this school community is a gift for my children and I would not go anywhere else!

I can say that St. Polycarp is one of the most loving & caring schools I know of. I don't know how a parent can say that 1 of our teachers is rude and mean. We have the best teachers & staff they all have the best interest of our students in their heart. This is a private school we have our children here for good reasons. When your child breaks a rule there is consequences for that. So for someone to say that the teacher is mean & rude they forgot to put that their child broke a rule. If you want to teach your child that you can break rules in life and not have any consequences for it than I guess the child will be just like the parent & always blame someone else for their errors. PLEASE come check out this school, teachers & staff and see what you think I promise you will bring your children here.

St. Polycarp School is a true pleasure to be a part of! At this school you feel at home, and your voice is heard. Basically, you know you are cared about. Being a first year teacher at this school, it has been a blessing in so many ways. To start off, the community is incomparable to any other school I have experienced (it feels as though we are like family). I notice on a daily basis everyone is happy to be there- students, parents and staff included. I love working at St. Polycarp! I worked in a public school before coming to St. Polycarp and was so impressed the minute I walked on the campus. The small class sizes allow for myself and the other teachers to truly give our students the attention they need and deserve. I feel close to all the teachers & staff, as well as the families of the school. We prepare our students to be well-rounded, successful leaders in today's world by teaching them not only the fundamentals of reading, writing and math, but also about music, art, physical education, science, technology, and faith. I am proud to be a teacher at St. Polycarp and invite anyone considering the school, to come and see for yourself how wonderful St. Polycarp is!

I have loved St. Polycarp since my children first started attending here. The loving family-oriented community inspired me to become a teacher myself and give back to this same community. I have been teaching here ever since. We have so many wonderful parent volunteers that help out throughout the campus in so many ways, whether volunteering in the classroom, at the lunch pavilion, in the health room or somewhere else. I recommend St. Polycarp to all my friends and any parents that I hear discussing schools. Even if they are not Christian or even not particularly religious, I know they will have a good experience there. If you desire a school that instills values such as respect, compassion and hard work, as well as a great education, then St. Polycarp is the right place. I currently have two children enrolled at St.Polycarp and they have been there since kindergarten. Next year (fall 2011) we look forward to our youngest son also becoming a Polycarp Pirate. We've had staffing changes this year (a few brand new teachers and some movement of our "veteran teachers") and I admit, I was curious to see how it would all turn out. So far, its been great! The new teachers fit in nicely and bring great enthusiasm to our already terrific school. I feel that these smooth transitions speak volumes about the high caliber of our teachers, staff and principal. They work together to provide a family type atmosphere where I know my kids are safe and everyone has their best interest in mind. Check out our school. Just walk on the campus and you will experience something truly special.

My child has attended at this school for more than 4 years. This is the best parochial school in the area of Stanton, Garden Grove, Cypress, Anaheim, Buena Park, and Westminster. The principal, teachers and staff are wonderful people. The principal is the stand-out person because she really cares about the students, and their learning expectations. The students learn their academic subjects to prepare for their future and develop their characters in the Catholic teachings and faiths. I am very happy with the school. I would recommend to any concerned parents to send their kids to St. Polycarp Catholic School.

I have visited this website 6 years ago when I was looking for a school for my daughter who was in Preschool back then. Saint Polycarp School was highly recommended by one of the parents. It is true that you'll get quality education, great environment for growing kids, and it was a plus to know that her Catholic Faith will become stronger, which I think is very important to our family. Nothing can change my mind in keeping my daughter here, even with the recent economic pressure. If there's a will, there's a way!

I just want to say what a great place St. Polycarp School is. The class sizes are small, they have onsite after school care both before and after school. My children get the best education possible, they are a part of a large family and community here at St. Polycarp. I know they are cared for and treated better than anywhere else. My daughter has attended St. Polycarp School since Kindergarden and is not in 8th Grade. We love this school. It is like a big family. Everyone talks to each other. I look forward to getting there a few minutes early and talking to the other parents and the teachers that are standing in the parking lot helping the kids out of cars in the morning. Our principal is the kindest principal I have ever met. She truly loves the kids. They actually want her on the playground and in the classroom. All of the teachers have been wonderful. The parishioners, the City offices and the community all help the school to be the best it can be. Faith and Education truly do create miracles in our children. I am proud to be a St. Polycarp Parent.

This is an excellent school. The teachers are truly interested in the children's growth. The principal is phenomenal. Office staff is organized and efficient. Parent Involvement--great--may activities..esp. if you want to be involved. Gossip-Cliques-negativity--can be created---if you diligently pursue it... I have never had issues with other parents, teachers, etc. On one occasion I had a concern and I presented it to the principal...I received a response within 20 minutes--resolved. I love this school...it has helped my child become the person she is...Christ follower, spirit filled, loving individual.

My nephews both attend this school and I cannot say enough about it. They are not in any 'right group' and they do wonderfully. They both were asked if they would like to go to public school and immediately said no. They love their school and their teachers and I as their aunt can see that this school has had a positive impact on them. I highly recommend you visit and see for yourself.

My grandchild came from another Catholic School & I can say that was the best move her parents could of made. Mrs. Wyles & the STAFF have to be the most loving and caring family I have ever seen. I say family because that is the way they make EVERYONE feel. My grandchild was very shy & now she will get in front of a standing room only Church & speak with such confidence in herself. Mrs. Wyles & the teachers are out every morning greating you by name & with a smile & a hug. I need more than 150 words to tell you everything that this school can offer you. All I can say is come and look at our school and see for yourself. I am only a grandma here & they allow me to help & be involved in her education.

St. Polycarp is really a wonderful school. My grandkids are in kindergartens, and I see great changes in their behaviors and attidutes since they came here. They are more caring and respectful to siblings and people around them. They are very excited to come to school every morning. They complete their homework everyday without being told. I believe having a love and nurturing environment at St. Polycarph really bring out the best in each child. St. Polycarp is a small school and might not have all the extra things that the other schools may have, but there is something very special about this place that make the children eager to learn and grow in God's love. Coming here will prepare my grandkids for the future and I believe with love and confidence, they can do anything.

I believe St. Polycarp is a great place for children to learn, grow and become Christ-like followers of God. My son's in kindergarten, and I'm very pleased. The teachers are very committed, loving and experienced. Mrs. Wyles's just an unbelievable principal with great leadership skills. She's so loving toward the children, and she knows each of them by name. She is always one of the first ones among the teachers to greet the children every morning. When you talk to her, you can definitely feel her committment and expectations. The parish pastor is also very dedicated to making the school better and safer for the children every year. I feel good dropping my son off every morning knowing that he is loved and well taking care of. Besides a quality education, my son will learn the values of truth, morality, and spirituality at St. Polycarp.

St.Polycarp is about faith-filled, positive and successful learning environment. Teachers are all in to bring out the best of each student and students love to come to school. There is no other school I want to take my kids other than here in St.Polycarp. Come and meet Mrs. Wyles, the fantastic principal. She will greet you with her big smile and tell you how wonderful St.Polycarp school is.

St. Polycarp has a full-day kindergarten that costs less than daycare! Other private schools in the area cost $2000 or more than the this school's current tuition. We see our daughter's attendance as a very good value and an investment in her future. Thanks St. Polycarp!

Saint Polycarp is a blessing to parents seeking great education and a family-like atmosphere. I have been involved with Saint Polycarp School since 1995 when my daughter started kindergarten. Now, 14 years later, my other son is about to graduate this coming year. The Principal, staff, teachers, families and students make of Saint Polycarp a treasured gem in Stanton.

We wanted only the best for our daughter and can honestly say she has the best! The entire staff is so loving and her teacher Mrs. Lawson is wonderful. Saint Polycarp is helping our daughter be the best student and person she can be. She is challenged academically and is learning how important homework is at a very early age. I expect great things from her in the future!

St. Polycarp School is a very awesome school with a family asmosphere! The teachers are so involve with each student! The Principal even knows all the kids by their first names, and she has an excellent leadership skill. The staff is so friendly and supportive. School activities are delivered to parent weekly thru the 'Weekly Newsletter'. My 3 kids receive an excellent education and faith at this school. I'm very pleased to send them here.

I think I'm like most parent that want a school that is safe, warm environment with high academic. My prayer was answered when I registered my daughter to St. Polycarp. My daughter strugle through reading from K-3. Finally with teachers, the libarian, and with the accelerate reading program got her to be one of the top readers in her school. Reading at least one book a night and still beg to stay up to read everyday. The confident that she have now have help her in many aspect of her subjects in school.

I just needed to comment on the quality of teachers at St Polycarp. I've been extremely pleased with Mr Salazar and Mrs. Jones as teachers. They are dedicated and have made an impression on my daughter. Coming from a public school, my daughter has had some reality checks and Mr Salazar and Mrs. Jones have guided her with their compassion for teaching and extreme patience.
