Profile Completeness

BASIC

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

This school needs a lot of work in order for it to become a great school. The principal lacks leadership here. She shows no interest for students here nor will she communicate with parents properly like other principals in other schools. Some of the teachers here are not even organized or prepared when it comes to parent teacher conferences. They don't give out homework like other schools do. Another thing about this school is there campus security. Students are let out in the front of the school but a bit ways down not by the main entrance. When its time for students to go home the teacher just stands there and lets them go to their parents or to anyone who picks up a child. Anyone can come up to this school and snatch a child. I had to change my son to another school were i felt he was safe and were the principal actually cares about students and not a paycheck. I wouldnt be surprised if it gets shut down anytime soon.

As a Parent of this school and a former student I have believe we need more yard staff to watch the children for safety matters. I think that there should be more activities per class, fieldtrips and more parent envolvement. I love the school and the after school program is very well structured. thank you!

I do not like this school, but right now this is the school my daughter must go to. The principal does not allow the children to have any kind of parties what so ever, she says the kids are their to learn not have fun. To a certain point she is right, but you have to make school fun to learn or the kids will not want to learn. Iam not saying party away, just a small one for the holidays. There are no rewards for the children at all. In the news week there a schools that have hands on experience, and that do a lot of things with the kids, and learn a lot more then regular class teaches, but not this school! Gina Black
