Profile Completeness

INTERMEDIATE

Want to improve this school’s profile? You can!

All schools on GreatSchools begin with BASIC completeness, which includes important information like contact details and test scores. It’s up to the school community to take the next steps. As a parent or community member, you can share what you know with other families by writing a review or answering a few questions about what the school offers. As a school leader, you can upload photos, describe school programs, and more with an Official school profile.

The completeness meter moves to INTERMEDIATE, then ADVANCED, and finally HONOR ROLL as you complete the following: 10 or more reviews, at least 1 photo, and 9 program questions parents find helpful.

I am a 2005 alumni. From what I've seen the school has gone down since the previous principal, Jeff Davis, left. The fence is atrocious and what's this I hear about police? Anyways, it may not be certified as such, but this school has great teachers, most are friendly. The art teachers are especially great, they're always looking for something new to teach!

The school may be had alot of problems but I always work with the school to make changes and like a parent I think is my responsibility work with the school. And guide my kids. My daughter is gifted she was there in 2004 an she is a magnet student now un j.F. Polytechnic she is in magnet an she was prepared for that in s.V.M.S. The opinion is depend of the kids behavior.Always I tink is the kid no the school.

Unfortunately, this school does its best to do their job. Resources are limited. The key to the success at this particular school is parent involvement for sure.

My son goes to this school, I don't really like the fact that he hardly ever has homework because he has time to do it in class, that means he's not being taught during class, he's only being kept busy. I don't like that, but I like the fact that they have to wear uniforms, that shows dicipline and I do feel is a safe school. My son has good grades but he is not being challenged enough, at least not in all his classes.
