We came from Hawaii to southern California, and Trinity school is where we found Aloha. My two children attended there, made friends quickly and excelled in their studies. The quality of teaching is excellent. The spirituality taught is real relationship with God, not religion. I pray they will expand to middle and high school!

Children are allowed to be children. I noticed that in LAUSD they push the kids to hard, and alot of them get burned out by the time they are in 4th-5th grade. I only wish they would focus more on art, and a little less of the religious teachings. The staff is caring, they hear you out, and work with you - that makes such a HUGE difference. I feel my child is safe- You don't have to worry about being late in picking up your child, they are immediatly take to day care, which is REALLY NICE:) Price reasonable compared to other private schools.

Both my children went to TCS and were there for 3 years. The classes are small, the teachers are well-educated (4+ college), attentive to every child's need, highly organized and caring individuals. After-school care was provided and a lifesaver for us dual-working parents. Family atmosphere and family-oriented. Parents are highly encouraged to be involved. The curriculum used is accelerated and has put our kids ahead in public school. TCS has quite a few extracurricular activities to choose from.

Trinity is a small, warm, caring school where everyone knows your kids. My son has been at Trinity for 3 years and is happy and doing well. Teachers are well educated, kind, and competent. (Some schools that we checked had teachers that hadn't even finished a 2 year A.A. degree.) My son's 2nd grade teacher had a double major in Art and Theology.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
