I have 2 kids attending this school. I think the school is academically challenging in a very supportive and positive environment. It fosters a spirit of caring and integrity throughout the school community. No bullying, intimidation is tolerated. On the other hand, you can see middle and high school students are supportive of one other. The teachers are very well qualified, and are very available to offer help and support even after class hours. The administration also takes the parent survey and input seriously. It may not be perfect, but it's a pretty good school that provides a good and healthy environment where students can flourish academically, spiritually, socially and emotionally balanced.

So far, our experience with The King's Academy has been outstanding. My student is in 7th grade and doing well in Algebra 1. Most of his 7th grade contemporaries at our neighborhood Palo Alto middle school are in Pre-Algebra, with very few in Algebra 1. The King's Academy fosters my student's academic growth through a challenging, yet supportive environment. We have not encountered any negative experiences at this school. The staff is helpful and friendly. The teachers are caring and expect the best from the students. Based on our middle school experience, we are planning to continue our student's education at The King's Academy rather than attending our crowded and super-competitive neighborhood high school.

Less than half of their 8th grade stays at Kings for highschool. There is a reason for the mass exodus. Ask them for the percentage of the 8th grade class that passes Algebra, compare that to the public school pass rate of 70% and keep in mind that Kings has an entrance exam. Parents are not allowed to attend board meetings.

As a graduate of The King's Academy I will say this school used to have very strong science, english, drama and athletics programs. If you want your kid to avoid getting into drugs this is the place for you. On the flip side the history department is a joke and this school is a breeding ground for intolerance, dogma and bigotry. Also, If your child is lgbt or a person of color they will need years of therapy to get over the damage done by this "school."

This school has a loving environment where students can show their independent thinking and their individual voice. King's teaches the students to be socially confident and concerned, academically proficient, morally principled, and spiritual prinicipled. This private Christian school is worth spending on your four years in high school.

The King's Academy is a school with safe, loving environment and excellent academics grogram. We have three children going to the King's and it's been a wonderful experiences! All the students are well-behaved, they are kind and friendly to each other and to the new comers; teachers are very encouraging and loving to individual student...it's the best choice and investment we made for our children. Highly recommended!

After my daughter joining King's Academy, she totally changed. She is happy and re-gaining her confidence in learning. For the first time, we hear her has a dream of pursuing a good profession and helping people. She becomes very motivated and self-driven. The class room size is around 20 or lower, teachers give individual attention to each students, they welcome student to stop by during brunch/lunch hours to ask questions and hang out. This is a school that tries very hard to build positive relationship between teacher and student. Teachers are very encouraging and dedicated. It's like a heaven on earth. My husband and I give huge credits to the teachers and well-behaved, friendly student body. Teachers respond to parent's inquiry immediately, they go out of their way to work with parents.

High expectations, dedicated teachers, a biblical worldview, and a campus of very nice kids. We have two children there, and our third will join them next year. Highly recommended.

I wanted my kids to have a similar hs experience I did with strong relationships with teachers and life-long relationships with peers. They're getting that at TKA; it's priceless and I don't think it can be found in any school.
