This is a great small christian elem. school. It is like a family here. The parents and supporting church are wonderful and support the program fully.
I am familiar with several one and two room Adventist schools and I was very pleased with Sutter Hill Adventist School. In addition to a very good head teacher, there are several volunteers who provide support in the area of office management, yearbook creation, teacher's aide, grounds, and transportation. The school has an excellent music program and presents several musicals and presentations each year. I was very impressed with the attention that was given to each student at this school in the areas of academics and discipline. Each student has an individually taylored academic program. There isn't much to choose from in Amador County when it comes to schools. If you don't want your children to go to the public schools, there are very few private schools. Fortunately, Sutter Hill Adventist School is also a very quality school. More parents should consider sending their children to this school.
