My son just came here from South Tahoe High School and said that his classes were super easy compared to STHS. and that he does get any homework either.

As a recent alumni, I can say that Sutter prepared me for college, without a doubt! I graduated top of my class, was able to take many AP and honors classes, and participated in extra-curricular activities. The standards at Sutter are high, but they are set by the students as well as staff. I was encouraged by teachers continually and still enjoy visiting teachers. I highly recommend attending Sutter Union High School.

My three children have all attended Sutter High and I feel that it is a great school to be a part of. I truely believe that you get out of school what you put into it, but Sutter offers many opportunities for students to participate in a wide range of activities from clubs to sports. For the most part, teachers care and are very helpful and the atmosphere around the school is positive and controled. My children have never felt their safety was at risk or that they had to fear being on campus for any reason. The administration is great and expectations are set high so that our children can and will become productive and responsible citizens.

My daughter is a senior this year and I have been extremely pleased with the quality of education she has received. She has a 4.57GPA and passed AP exams w/flying colors. It is a fairly small school w/a strict 'no tolerance' policy. I feel safe sending my daughter to school here.
